"The staff was so welcoming from the time we arrived. The hotel property is beautiful. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Florence but they also have a shuttle. I’m a walker so I preferred to walk but it does have hills. The breakfast was so delicious I miss it. They have free parking which was important to us because we were renting a car to drive to Tuscany area."

The only gripe i has was that in the room there are no water bottles nor are they replenished: I think You have to ask for water and they bring to you which I Never did, i went to local supermarket and got some any way. "What a quaint four night stay. The nuns managing the desk and the grounds were sweet and helpful. The room was neat with a pleasant balcony view out into the courtyard. A bit longer of a walk to central Florence but only blocks from the train station. A unique property to unwind after experiencing a great city."
