"I found my room nice, clean, and warm. Staff were helpful of my needs and request of ground floor room and I was provided care and comfort throughout my stay. Even got a voucher for a free bowling game. Dinner at the restaurant was good with very caring staff who offered free room service. Highly recommended if you’re looking for best quality of accommodation in affordable price. "

"Amazing hotel, excellent in every way"

"My wife and I loved our stay at Sofitel Queenstown. The staff were amazing, very welcoming and efficient. Our room was spacious, very Comfortable and well appointed. It is located perfectly, just a two minute stroll to the absolute centre of Queenstown. I would absolutely recommend Sofitel Queenstown and will definitely stay there again on my visit. "

"We stayed here 16 years ago and it seems the furniture and fixtures & fittings were the same. Our L shape sofa had a stain. Couldn’t work out how to use the gas heater as it kept turning off. Comfortable stay and unbeatable lake side view. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were very useful. "

"From the moment we arrived at QT Queenstown, we felt genuinely welcomed. We happened to check in on a Friday when the hotel was offering their complimentary afternoon activity, a relaxing 15-minute shoulder massage, which was the perfect way to unwind after our flight. When we walked into our room, we were greeted with a bottle of wine waiting for us, and later received an additional bottle of champagne to help celebrate a birthday we were marking during our stay, such a thoughtful touch! "Great modern hostel on the lakefront a short 5 mins from the centre of queenstown. Good rooms and clean hot showers. Comfy lounge with pool table. Parking can be tricky - like most places. A hot tub or sauna would be a great addition to the hostel a day of skiing!"

"One of the best stays I’ve ever had. On arrival we were greeted by lovely staff, who couldn’t do enough for us during our whole stay. The view from the room was breathtaking. The rooms themselves are large and have all the facilities required. We prepaid for breakfast and are so glad we did, absolutely delicious. Our only regret is not staying for longer. We cannot wait to return! Worth every penny."
