Check in from 4 but door locked. It was a little frustrating as I’d been working all day but wasn’t waiting too long. "El hotel es muy justillo, se ve antiguo y con mobiliario viejo. La puerta es fina, ni siquiera llega hasta el suelo, por lo que se oye a cualquiera que pase por el pasillo y la sensación es de inseguridad total. La habitación estaba sin limpiar, encontramos una bolsa llena de restos de comida de Mcdonalds. Además hacía mucho frio y cuando preguntamos en recepción nos dijeron que “luego” se encendería, resultó que la encendieron a las 21h y a media noche la apagaron, con una media de 9 grados...

"We stayed in a family room for two nights and overall had a good stay. The room was comfortable with nice view, but housekeeping needs improvement. There were sweets left from the previous guest on arrival, the toilet had a bad smell with no refresher, and the toilet tissue was partially used and not properly replenished we ran out on the last day and eventually gave up calling reception. "Off to a bad start due to the, otherwise very pleasant, owner pouncing on us as we arrived following a day of travel. We really just wanted to be left alone to arrive and unpack. Not the right time to attempt to convey information and instructions as we unpacked from the car. Nicely situated geographically with a lovely view of the sea from the front facing windows (the only windows unfortunately) and front door. "I was disappointed to find that despite what it said on the Hotels site the Red Lion did not organise parking if you phoned. I had to park 5 minutes walk away and thankfully it was not raining too hard. With no food at the pub food choices were a little limited but luckily there is a very good take away pizza shop 50 metres away. The breakfast I had was very good so no problems with that."
