"Not too bad for an expensive hotel"

"A socer team was staying on the 1st floor. As the parents hung out in the breakfast area the kids were running up and down the hall going in and out of each other rooms and being extremely loud. After 10 pm I asked the front desk to ask the parents to control their kids. That worked for about 5 minutes then about 10 kids moved into the room next door. At 1115 the kids were still out of control so I went to the front desk and asked the new desk attendant to talk to the parents who were still in...

"The young lady who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There was a a lot of traffic noise from tge freeway but that is to be expected. After driving through 4 states, I barely noticed."

"I was very disappointed with my stay. When I checked into the room, there was a strong smell of cooking oil throughout the entire room, as if someone had been cooking there recently. There was also a used towel hanging in the closet that had clearly been left behind by a previous guest, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. "The room was clean and beds comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood however was sketchy. There were many, and I mean many, unhoused/unwashed people loitering around the property. Thankfully, there is a locked gate around the hotel which does help it feel safer. Bottom line, if you need a clean, no frills room at a decent price and don’t care about the dilapidated downtown neighborhood, then this is your place."

"BE CAUTIOUS!! I was in a rush and accidentally scanned my key on the door next to mine, and it worked… thankfully they had the door lock hooked, but my key worked for my room and the person next to me. I had room 238 and my key worked for 236 as well. I asked the front desk and even reprogramming key didn’t fix the issue. Very unsafe and not worth the price for having an unsecured room."
