It is very popular with locals for walking, jogging, cycle pathways, exercise equipment at various locations along the length of grassy, well- maintained lawns. The southern end of the Esplanade has many bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as a world-class casino with restaurants (and is adjacent to the main shopping centre) Here you will find plenty of tour booking agents for a big range of reef, rainforest, tablelands tours, scenic flights, fishing trips, balloon flights, and other speciality tours.
