"Close to hospital as needed to be near to very sick relative to reduce travel time from home. Beautiful building and garden area. Didn’t use all facilities as was only there in an emergency situation not a holiday! The cleanliness could be improved. Cups in room unwashed/ mould in bathroom walls. Security could be an issue as fire door found to be wedged open by a brick last night on our return late at night? "

"Honestly i didnt have high hopes for this place. Was just a little night away so glad we booked it. The rooms were very spacious and clean everything we needed in there aswell. Even tho its by a main road we couldnt hear anything. Check in was quick and easy. We had food an drinks in the bar at sround half 8 food was great fab prices aswell. "We stayed in room 36 and wow wow wow was we blown away it was 5 star suit soo comfy we were looked after so well Food was excellent breakfast was amazing especially the sousage im.fussy about sousage they were gorgeous .the bath was separate room and very big and the walk in shower was big aswell our weekend was absolutely amazing we were spoilt and the swimming pool area was great took we'll be back. "Staff very friendly and helpful. Double bed very comfy, single bed far too soft for an adult, fine for a small child. Rooms would benefit from a deep clean. The building is looking tired (visible bubbling on the walls, discoloured plug holes, tatty bed bases) and needs refreshing. For a spa day I would be disappointed, for a base to explore the area it was fine. The pool was a key factor in choosing this hotel."

"If you’re out of the central Chester city area, this is a really convenient place to stay. Just be warned, the nearby roundabout on the A55 gets clogged at rush hour in a number of directions. Just leave for work early! The establishment is pleasant, clean, and the staff will do what they can if there’s a problem. Example: on my first check in, Expedia had stopped sending bookings across. I’d only booked an hour before. I was given a bar voucher and told they’d call me as soon as the problem...
