"Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good."

"We loved our stay at Llechwen Hall Hotel, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. There are two steep steps to the restaurant that we couldn’t manage due to disabilities but the staff served us in the lounge area so not a problem. We can certainly recommend this Hotel."

"Very very basic hotel, and one I feel was over priced. Beer was flat in the bar, very little ventilation at in the room and felt like a bargain motel. I would not want to spend any longer than a night here and I wouldn't book it again."

The venue itself was fine but we had an unfortunate experience in that the extreme weather meant our room was ridiculously hot. "The staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. We didn't get chance to use the pool so can't comment on those facilities but what we could see from the window looked good. There was air conditioning in the restaurant but not in our room so that made the room quite hot and stuffy even with the window open. However, there was a fan in the room and that did help a little.
