Currently, working remote has been quite a challenge! If you work from home and are looking at a property where you comfortabel can live and work, this lovely apartment could be the one for you. Located in the middle of the centre of Bussum, also known as the heart of “ het Gooi”. Het Gooi is a wealthy area known for its villa’s, green landscape, historical charm and the Dutch media capital Hilversum. Bordering with Bussum is the town Naarden, home to the Dutch Fortress Museum ( Nederlands Vestingmuseum) located in the old-town Naarden Vesting. The charming places Laren, Huizen and Blaricum are all easily accessible by car or bike.
A 10 minute walk from the apartment will bring you to the nearest train station ‘Naarden Bussum’. From here frequently running trains will bring you either to Amsterdam Central Station or Utrecht Central Station in under half an hour. Schiphol Airport is merely a 40 minute train ride from Naarden Bussum.
Supermarkts, Restaurants, Bars, pharmacy and serveral retail stores all within a 5 min walking.
Approximately a 20 minute walk away you will find a nature reservoir called ‘ Goois Natuur Reservaat’. The numerous paths crossing through these moorlands and woodlands are perfect for those who enjoy walking, cycling or running in nature. Those who enjoy the sailing and water sports will enjoy the Loosdrecht Lakes ( Loosdrechtseplassen) the Ankeveen Lakes ( Ankeveenscheplassen) and Muiderberg.

The property has one bedroom with access to the sunny and spacious rooftop terrace, which provides a lot of privacy as well.
The living room has a classic gas fireplace and a fantastic office area with Sonos sound system. Integated kitchenette with fridge, electric cooker with oven, koffee maker, kettle and bread roster.
The badthroom with shower and toilet is small but comfortable enough.

We do provide linen and towels during your stay. Bi-Weekly cleaning and weekly changing of towels/bedlinnen for long term rental on request.

Note that there is no washing machine in the apartment, but there is a good laundrette located 5 minutes (by foot) away where you can drop off laundry and have it cleaned within a day.

This was a clean, quiet apartment with everything we needed for cooking our own meals. The bed was very comfortable. The host was attentive and helpful. Coffee shops and a wide variety of stores were within walking distance. Access to the apartment required climbing a short but steep set of stairs. I'm happy to recommend this to anyone looking to stay close to, but not in, Amsterdam.

Tolles Ambiente, zentrale Lage, wunderschöne Glasfenster, ein paar Kleinreparaturen wären zu erledigen, die steile Treppe zur Wohnung war ungewohnt. Isabel ist eine sehr sympathische, nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Your home away from home near Amsterdam

I cannot say enough good things about my stay here! Isabel is such an incredible host and kept in communication with me during my entire stay to make sure I was comfortable. Bussum is such a beautiful, quiet little town that was a perfect escape from the hustle of Amsterdam, while still being close enough to everything and incredibly accessible by train. The supermarket is a 30 second walk, and the train station is an easy 10 minute walk. As a single woman travelling the area always felt safe. I would highly recommend staying here, I completely fell in love with the area and with the apartment.

Such a cute Apartment

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 10 days and were really happy that we chose this apartment. It was super clean and had everything we need. It‘s not far away from the train station and the supermarket. Bussum is also a really cute City with little Shops and nice Breakfastspots (even as vegeterians!). Isabelle is a really kind host and always asked if we need something. We would recommend it 100% and are really thankful we could stay here for our vacation!

I had a good time, ten minutes to the train station, 2 min to a supermarket. Everything you need in a flat is provided. The add speaks about a pool. There is none, but I thought from the very beginning that info was wrong. I would recommend it.
