Completed in March 2026, this brand-new retreat invites you to be among the very first to experience it. Peacefully set across 3.5 acres of lush lawn and private forest, it offers sweeping views and an immersive connection to the surrounding native landscape.

Surrounded by the best of the Margaret River Region—from award-winning wineries to pristine beaches and national parks—this is the perfect base for an unforgettable escape.

Designed with a refined yet relaxed aesthetic, the retreat showcases high-end finishes and expansive windows that frame the beauty of nature from every angle. The interiors are light-filled, modern, and thoughtfully curated for comfort.

In summer, unwind beneath the south-facing alfresco as the sun sets over the forested hills. In winter, settle into the generous living space with a glass of local red after a day exploring nearby wineries and breweries.

The kitchen is both elegant and functional, featuring European appliances and everything you need for effortless cooking and entertaining. You’ll find quality glassware, crockery, serving pieces, a Nespresso machine, and a BBQ for relaxed outdoor dining.

The bathroom features premium fittings and is stocked with hand wash and body wash, while fresh linens and towels are provided for your stay. A washing machine, dryer, and drying rack are also available for added convenience.

For quieter moments, curl up on the oversized sofa with a board game or stream your favourite shows on the large Smart TV.

Year-round comfort is ensured with ducted air conditioning and heating, though we recommend opening the windows in the late afternoon to enjoy the fresh coastal breeze.

If work calls, both bedrooms include dedicated study nooks and fast Wi-Fi.

Guest access :

While located just a few metres from the main residence, Black Cockatoo Retreat is entirely yours to enjoy, offering a peaceful and private stay. A dedicated car park ensures easy and discreet access for guests.

The retreat is set on a single level and is generally suitable for those with reduced mobility; however, please note that the main access involves walking over a few larger rocks and stepping stones.
