"We booked last minute to get out of the bustle of the city. Suzanne and John were really thoughtful in sharing that there was unexpected roadwork outside the cottage, giving us the opportunity to find another place to stay but we decided to go ahead and are so glad that we did. The cottage is comfortable and quaint with all the amenities you need to relax. The cottage is walking distance to local cafes, restaurants, and bars. "Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out."

Cholchester ist mit dem Auto in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Oberflächlich ist das Haus sauber, nur beim genaueren Hinsehen und Nutzen der Küche waren zum Beispiel deutliche Fettanhaftungen an der Dunstabzugshaube und nicht gut gereinigtes Besteck festzustellen. Both were very welcoming, nice, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t really have time to investigate the area as our stay there had been for the purpose of visiting friends who we had met on previous holidays abroad and to attend their daughter’s wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to book to stay at Hogwarts again...

"Perfect location, 5 minutes walk to the beach. Everything you need is on your doorstep. We strongly recommend Samphire restaurant, amazing food. Train station only 10 minutes walk away, we explored Faversham and Margate. Garden is completely enclosed for a dog. There is parking, but slightly limited on the street directly outside. The customer service from Keepers Cottages cannot be faulted!"

"The property is well equipped and spacious. Price was a little over £75. Per person per night. You couldn’t hire a beach hut for that! A small suggestion would be to add handrails to garden steps and steps to kitchen could be boxed in and carpet tread added,my little dog had an issue getting up and down them , plus a coat of white paint to bedroom furniture. But that’s nit picking. All in all a relaxed and pleasant stay Thank you ,Chiara and Rob ."
