"A beautiful setting directly on Tissa lake. The lobby opens out straight onto the garden and pool. Our room had opening sliding doors allowing an unhindered views of the lake. Hundreds of birds coming and going and there is an amazing twilight sight as the fruit bats leave the island for the night. Nice local area and an easy walk along the lakeside into town for the night. Food and service was great."

"We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. "We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. "Spent 2 amazing nights here for safari tours situated right outside the national park. The hotel staff and location is amazing. The cabanas are beautiful and air conditioned. We even had elephants in the lagoon outside our room one night. As additional the safaris are excellent, the park is dripping with wildlife, we booked directly from yalla national park but the hotel does similar tours do a full day as 1/2 is not enough."
