Welcome to the best pet friendly beach house experience in the Elliott Heads area. Bring your K9 best friends for a fabulous beach holiday (they are welcome inside and out).

Huge ocean-facing deck. Fully refurbished in December 2023 with new bedding, linen, furniture, smart TVs, free wifi and all kitchen equipment and appliances and located in a quiet street at quaint Elliott Heads village.

100 metre walk to the sensational sandy Elliott River, patrolled surf beach and surf-side fish and chip shop. Lighthouse is a dream location for your summer vacation or winter getaway.

We are known for our world-class conditions for kite-surfing and renowned pristine waters where you can whale watch from the headland, snorkel over reef just off the beach and reel in cracker fish from the shore.

Lighthouse is four houses down from the riverside walkway which runs along the beach north through nearby villages. Perfect for a long leisurely walk, bike riding and rollerblading.

Fantastic bowling club with a free bus if you want a tipple and terrific food. Lighthouse is located only 20 minutes from the bustling centre of Bundaberg, which has an airport.

Your pets will love the fully fenced yard and if you love your pets inside, snuggled up on the couch with you; this is the dream holiday beach house. Free high-speed NBN WiFi included for all the family. Everything is here for the perfect holiday in the quietest street in dream Elliott Heads. Just pack your towels and you're ready to go.

We had a wonderful stay at this Elliott Heads property and would highly recommend it for a relaxing beachside escape.Communication with the owner was excellent—friendly, prompt, and very helpful throughout. The home was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were great, and the location so close to the beach made it easy to enjoy the peaceful coastal setting.Thank you for a fantastic stay—we look forward to our next visit 🦋

The host was so welcoming and nothing was too much to ask for. Very obliging and we will definitely be rebooking.The house is so comfortable, inside has air cons in each room. Beds were so comfortable and the back decking was comfortable as well.Great house, great location, great host, especially where dogs are concerned.

We had such a wonderful time here in Elliot heads, such a beautiful home in a serene location. The house had everything you need to feel at home. Best fridge/freezer ever, lots of room and unlimited cold water and ice for the summer heat, aswell as the aircon was cool and crisp. There is a huge backyard with lots of places to sit on the verandah and enjoy the views and ocean breeze. Our British bulldog Pablo loved having such a big backyard to run around in, and was spoilt being aloud on the (covered) couch. He did not want to leave by the end of our stay. LolWonderful host with amazing communication and care for the guest/s including the 4 legged kind. Thankyou so much for having us; it was definitely one of our favourite holidays ever! I highly recommend Brendans home to anyone looking to stay in Elliot heads.

A perfect authentic beach-cottage getaway that is wonderfully dog friendly. The large outdoor deck was a great spot to catch the breezes and hear the ocean.The beds are delightfully comfortable, the rooms are quiet (as are the neighbours) and you can easily stroll to the beach in minutes. Brendan is very responsive and attentive. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans (there was even a slow-cooker and electric wok!) - the knives were sharp. What more can I say - a huge thank you for having us in your wonderful beach cottage Brendan, thank you.Everything was just pretty perfect all round! We will be back for sure.

Just stayed there for 6 nights with my wife and 2 teen girls. Also absolutely perfect for dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this house. The house was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Loved the back deck overlooking the park. House was very clean and I highly recommend it.

What an amazing staycation my husband and our bulldog Lucy had. Our most important requirement was our dog can make the home hers, and that she did. It is a clean, tidy lovely home. The host has been so accommodating to all our needs. Close to the beach and a bowls club. Both Mike and Lucy had a great time just relaxing on the deck. Lucy was allowed on the furniture which didn't take her long to kick back and snore. We will definitely re book another holiday here. Thank you for such a relaxing, comfortable, clean, tidy home. Definitely worth the stay.

Communication via phone and website was great. Beds and a/c in all 3 bedrooms were excellent. Washing machine, dryer and fridge also great. Cleaning left a lot to be desired. Shower was extremely bad.

We’ve had the best time! The location was spot-on! Less than five minutes to a dog-friendly beach, which our pups treated like their personal red-carpet runway. The house itself was great, especially the amazing patio with a gate that kept the dogs safely contained… and prevented any “I’m just going to sprint to the backyard real quick” moments.The backyard was fully fenced and super secure, giving the pups the freedom to zoom around. Inside, the house had everything we needed: a big fridge perfect for storing all the seafood, a nice TV, and three comfy bedrooms with beds that absolutely delivered on the post-beach-nap front.We loved our stay, the dogs had an absolute blast, and we can’t recommend this place enough. A fantastic getaway all around!

My kids and i very much enjoyed our stay at Brendans beach house. Everything was neat and tidy. Nice size rooms with good airconditioning and comfortable beds. Large deck out the back with bbq was good when we had visiting family members. House is positioned a sreet away from patroled beach and was only a few minutes walk to a beautifull dog friendly beach.The area has a quite layed back feel to it wich we all loved. And what made our holiday so special was that our french bulldog could sit on the couch next to us inside like he does at home. I would recomend this to anyone that wants to holiday with your dog.

We had a beautiful relaxing break at Brendan’s place. Beach access is as close as walking 3 houses up, the beds are comfortable, there is a great deck out the back and Brendan is a wonderful communicator and generous host.This place had everything we needed for us and our poodle with a lot of great walks and other beaches a very quick drive away as well. Especially appreciative that our poodle was allowed inside and we will definitely be back. Thanks Brendan

Host Brendan has made it very easy to stay. He has thought of everything. This place is a home away from home. Brendan answers queries promptly and check in was a simple process This property allows you to have your pets inside but you will spend your days on the awesome back deck listening to the ocean and soaking up the sun. There is a bar fridge on the deck so drinks easy to procure. There is the most fantastic walking area at river mouth - acres of sand to explore and it’s a one minute walk away. The house is clean and beds are extremely comfortable. This is our third stay at this property and I highly recommend it.

Perfect Spot in Elliot Heads

Wonderful beachside property, with all the little extras you need to make your stay easy. Cosy inside and great back deck for relaxing. Easy stroll to the beach/park/cafe. Brendan was great at communicating and checking we had all we needed for a comfortable and carefree stay. Excellent host. Look forward to our next visit.

We loved our weekend getaway at Elliot Heads, the house was just perfect it had a beautiful beachy feel and had everything we needed. Absolutely fantastic location with walking distance to the beach and cafe which had the best ice creams for our Grandkids who live in Bundaberg. Would definitely recommend to friends as it really was the perfect place to stay.

The best dog friendly place we’ve ever stayed at!

From the moment we walked in the door, we loved this place! Everything you could need and more to have a nice comfortable stay for you and your dog/s! Us humans enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, beautiful balcony where we ate all of our meals and the convenience of a fully equipped laundry. But the most important guest (our dog,) was impressed by the huge grassy back yard, the comfy couch he was allowed to snooze on and the short walk to the beach.

The Perfect Getaway

We had such an amazing stay at this beach house in Elliott Heads! It was perfect for our little family — including our two puppies, who absolutely loved the space to roam and relax. The house was super comfortable, well-equipped, and just a short stroll to the beach (which made all the difference with kids and dogs in tow!). We had everything we needed, and the communication from the owner was spot on, friendly, helpful, and easy. As someone who loves to cook while away we weren’t short of all the essential equipment as well as an epic BBQ. It was such a peaceful, relaxing getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Just like home

Second time staying here. It’s great. Feels very cosy. Comfy beds and lounge. Huge tv in lounge and extra tv in bedroom the back deck is spread across the back of the house and we spend our days lazing there and listening to surf and birds. We can have our two fur kids inside with us and they are well accommodated for - highly recommend
