"There was a faint smell of old ashtray in the room that I found disappointing (on a non smoking floor). I also turned up when the keys/locks were being redone, and reception was nice enough but I don't think the manager actually apologise for the inconvenience even once, just fed excuses.... Zero explanation of where anything was or times the reception was open/closed over weekend."

"Front desk people were amazing. Parking was secure apartment, although the layout was bizarre, it was so clean and well equipped. Such a convenient location, easy to find. Modern appliances, large bathroom, excellent shower, comfy lounge,great patio. Aircon in rooms, large tv in main bedroom, coffee, tea and milk supplied."

Sue was a pleasure to deal with and kind enough to offer us a complimentary upgrade to a superior room in the Boutique Hotel. The forest surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor areas where we could chill out and/or eat our meals. A comfortable bed, large bathroom and mid cons in our room made for a great stay. Thank you!"

"Staff were cheerful and helpful. Room was large and nicely set out. Bed was too soft for me but if you like a soft bed.... Floor could use a vacuum and in lifts. Easy access from car parking with case trolley available. Air con was quiet. Room was very quiet. Restaurant available but could use another vegetarian option. I'd stay again but hopefully have a harder bed and freshly vacuumed floor 😉"

"We loved the location. Basically overhanging the Gabba gives you a great view of the ground and the Brisbane CBD. If you are attending an event at the ground it is just about the perfect place to stay due to it's close proximity. Being located out of the CBD means it is a little quieter, but there is still plenty of places to eat within a short walk from the property.
