Definitely not a 4 star hotel by global standards. Had some challenging experiences here that revolved around the front desk team as well as the hotels overall standards.
Arrived late morning here where there seemed to be a lot going on at the check in desk. Wanted to utilize my Expedia perks for VIP early check in but was not addressed or even welcomed when we got there. Was told I had to wait until 3pm which was fine but sadly didn’t seem like they really acknowledged Expedia members…
To make this short outside of the hospitality side the internet for the room did not work for the tv for almost 2 days and the power went out 2x. This is common during the summmer because of AC usuage but it was not what we signed up for so I had to connect with Corp to address my concerns. They surprisingly responded promptly but got some push back again from the extra prideful gentleman managing check out when I communicated the approved changes.
I would not stay here again as this did not feel like a very welcoming place to spend my money as a first time visitor to a new city. The roof top was really all this place offered, pool was not appealing at all, and the rest of the hotel seemed empty outside of the restaurant. Find a populate and more reputable Hoyle chain first or the pay the money other boutique options. They really just need to work on customer service - don’t need 5 people standing there acting like they’re doing something when your the only one trying to get help…not smart
