  • Hunter Moon is the perfect luxury group getaway for family and friends, set on 25 peaceful acres in beautiful Broke Fordwich, Hunter Valley.
    This spectacular country house features 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, gorgeous gardens, sweeping lawns, a tranquil dam, and stunning views across the Brokenback Mountain range and surrounding vineyards.
    In summer, enjoy the huge 10-person jacuzzi, which can be set to cool depending on the weather, or splash around in the running creek at the back of the property. In winter, relax by the indoor fireplace or gather around the amazing outdoor firepit, with all wood provided.
    Hunter Moon has been designed with larger groups in mind. The home offers spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, multiple living spaces, ducted air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, Foxtel, Chromecast, Xbox, books and DVDs.
    The outdoor areas are ideal for entertaining, yoga, cricket, lawn games or simply relaxing with a glass of local wine while taking in the gardens, dam and wildlife.
    Located just minutes from the village of Broke, Hunter Moon is only a short drive to some of the Hunter Valleys best cellar doors and restaurants, including the award-winning Margan Restaurant, and around 15 minutes to Hunter Valley Gardens.
    Hunter Moon accommodates up to 22 guests across 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The media room can also be converted into a ninth bedroom if required.

We had a lovely two-day stay at this holiday home. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and everything else worked perfectly. The location and overall experience were great.The only minor issue we faced was that the kitchen gas stove was quite slow to heat up, which made cooking a bit time-consuming. Apart from that, everything was excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay.

2 nights in Paradise

We had a very large group of family come over from overseas for a family event ranging from 4 to 82 years of age. The house is amazing and was luxurious for every single persons stay. I have never seen such a well equipped house with every possible thing available, about 25 mins drive from the Hunter. Thank you so much for helping us have such a memorable stay!

Family Stay

This is an amazing property with plenty of space, beautiful grounds and lovely views. The house itself is beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen and bbq area for entertaining large groups and special extras like fresh flowers scattered throughout the house which is a very lovely touch. Communication and help from our host Colette was second to none. Thank you so much for making or stay a special one!

Plenty of rooms and toliets. Nice outdoor sitting area with a nice view.The hot tub was used everyday for the duration of the stay, adds a nice touch making the stay relaxing and peaceful.

Beautiful property, great for big groups

Had an amazing stay at Hunter Moon for my sisters birthday weekend. Was perfect size for a large group and the place was beautiful. It is a little far from local shops and the vineyards but we had organized a tour bus and that worked out fine. Colette was easy to contact and work with! Would definitely recommend

Hunter Moon Stay

This is an amazing property for a large group of friends. The place has all the necessary amenities, including a spa to make the trip very enjoyable. Amazing Wedding Weekend

We had a small intimate wedding weekend at the property. The landscape and scenery was simply picturesque. Luckily it didn’t rain during our stay but we had to have our ceremony on the deck as the ground was soaked and muddy. Colette was a phenomenal host and very accommodating with all our requests to create our dream wedding weekend. The property is large and spacious which was perfect for large groups and entertaining. Would definitely go back!

Amazing home and location!

What a lovely and spacious house and property. We had 3 families in this house and it had more than enough room for the kids (and dogs) to run around freely and the adults to sit and enjoy the house. Thank you Colette for a wonderful stay.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property over the new year period! Everything from booking the place to departing was made so easy by the host Colette. The house was very spacious and clean, anything you would need was provided. Everyone was extremely happy and comfortable with their stay and we would definitely recommend it to our family/friends. Beautiful property and excellent host

Our group had the chance to stay in the Hunter Moon and it was nothing short of amazing! The property is very spacious and there are so many activities in the house. We had so much fun in the spa, playing table tennis and badminton. Also in close proximity to the house are wineries, some of which we visited. The BBQ also came in handy on our second night as well as we cooked a feast! As for each of the rooms, they were mostly clean and very comfortable. Finally, our host Collette was quick to respond to all of our questions and was extremely hospitable, making our super smooth sailing. The only suggestion I'd give would be to add a Chromecast device in the entertainment room (very cheap and useful for streaming services) but otherwise everything was great :D! Thank you Colette!

Work Group Get Away

What an incredible property! Colette and Mark have created the most amazing group accommodation option. The little touches (white boards for names on doors, separate private seating areas) were so great but the group activities/games and fire pit were the most popular with the spa! The fresh roses in every room and around the house was really lovely too.

My 30th Birthday in Broke

We stayed at this property with a group of 20 to celebrate my 30th. Hunter Moon Country House was perfect! We all had plenty of space for sleeping and the layout of the house made it a dream of entertaining! We had a long lunch on the back deck which was already set up and decorated for us. The back lawn area was perfect to run around and play games which were provided my Colette and Mick. The spa was great in the evenings and we even managed to cool it down during the day as it was a very warm weekend. I would highly recommend the Hunter Moon Country House, Broke as an area and Colette and Mick as hosts. We will be back and encourage everyone to check this place out :)
