We booked our stay months ago, relying on the description of facilities, which included TV and free wi-fi. It was only when we arrived that we were informed that there had been problems with the TV for some time, and that only Netflix and YouTube were available. We were less than pleased that they had failed to communicate this to us in advance. We were unable to obtain even those services, or free-to-air. The wi-fi failed after a few hours. Our complaint was accepted , but request for compensation ignored, despite chasing. Clearly they brazen out complaints by ignoring them.
The room itself is meant to be photographed, not lived in. There is a lack of utensils and crockery; a full-size dishwasher, but a single teaspoon, for example.
The flat itself is dangerous. The flooring is the same in the lounge and the bathroom, but there is a small, but visually undetectable step up into the latter, with no visible demarcation. Both my wife and I tripped over this lip, cutting our feet.
The hotel overlooks a very busy railway station.
We finally obtained the wi-fi but discovered that this cut off every night at midnight (why? Do guests normally check out of their apartments at this hour?) and we had to re-register (not always easy) all our equipment every morning.
Overall a very unsatisfactory experience, and one that the management will no doubt repeat as they simply do not care about their clients.
