"Very nice hotel, a lot more "upmarket" than your traditional seaside hotel. The bed was comfy, air con (not usually needed in the UK but it was 27+degrees the few days we stayed), decent toiletries, great selection of tea and coffee in the room. The type of room we booked included robes and slippers. It's a quite far from the pier if that's the vibe you're looking for. There's plenty of restaurants and a few bars around but it was overall a very quiet area overlooking the marina. The car park...

My room was called Indulgence, and I was lucky to have a view, with large windows, of the sea and the small park outside. This proved to be extra useful as I wasn't feeling well one of the days and spent it fully in the room. "Nicely decorated and very clean, cramped and cold though. In a fairly grubby part of town. Very overlooked by other buildings into room. Staff assistance was prompt but there is no in person presence. Quiet at night and good black out blinds. "

"Excellent hotel that is highly recommend. We stay here probably once a year and have done now for a number of years. The location is fantastic. Pretty much opposite the pier and a couple of minutes walk into The Laines out the back of the hotel. Cracking views over the sea front from the front of the hotel. Handy car park underneath the hotel. Rooms are always good. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Think I’d struggle to justify staying anywhere else in Brighton."
