Le Chateau, Bright!

  • Located on the famous tree lined Delany Avenue, close to Bright's Centenary park, shops and eateries, Le Chateau is ideally suited for two families or groups. Upstairs you will find five bedrooms and the main bathroom. Each of the beds is made up with linen for your stay.

    Please note: This property has limited parking for a maximum of two cars

    BEDDING CONFIGURATION - Sleeping a total of 14 Guests.
    Bedroom 1 – King bed
    Bedroom 2 – 1 x Tri bunk 1 x single bed
    Bedroom 3 – Double bed
    Bedroom 4 – 2 x single beds 1 x bunk
    Bedroom 5 – Queen bed
    * All beds have electric blankets, except the top bunks.

    All linen & towels are provided

    LOUNGEROOM
    The ground floor is a great living space. Large living room with TV and woodfire.

    Please note: This property DOES NOT have WIFI

    KITCHEN/DINING
    Fully equipped kitchen - electric cooktop, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine. Dining space with seating for 6-8 plus kitchen table for 6.

    BATHROOMS
    Le Chateau has two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs as well as laundry facilities.

    HEATING & COOLING
    Split system air conditioning upstairs, downstairs and in every bedroom to keep you comfortable year round. As well as a woodfire heater for that extra warmth and ambience in Winter. Please note a starter supply of firewood, kindling, fire lighters and matches are supplied (from May to September only). Additional firewood and supplies can be purchased at local supermarkets and service stations.

    OUTDOORS
    Large back yard with plenty of space for the kids to run around. Comfortable outdoor setting and a gas BBQ. There is no access to the garage.

Perfect place for large groups

Older quirkier property that has everything you could possibly need. Definitely family friendly for all ages and perfect location to town. An absolute home away from home. Will stay here again.

Birthday Celebration

House was great, very quirky, great for kids of all ages, particularly liked the under-stair cubby house for the kids. Very secluded outdoor area. Could not have wanted for anything more the way it was kitted out. Withing walking distance of town centre. Wonderful place to stay.

It was good property which has so many rooms to accomodate many people/group. Only concern was this was not old property.

Amazing location

Great house only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Bright. Worked well for our 3 families with everything we needed including a great toy room for the kids. The only negative thing was that one of the queen bedrooms came off of the kids bunk room which made for a noisy night for that couple! Otherwise, a fantastic layout.

Lock up garage and storage area for those expensive MTBs, didn't bring your bike? there'll be one in the garage you can use to cycle around town. Great space, large fully equipped kitchen and never felt cramped. Definitely would book Le Chateau again. Great value for money.

Family friendly retro charm

It was comfortable and clean and felt like a well-loved family holiday home, with board games, books and a great kids play area under the stairs. The garden was lovely and we enjoyed coffee and BBQ meals in the back yard. The kitchen was well equipped, and we loved having breakfast in the brekky nook. While the layout of the upstairs bedrooms is somewhat idiosycratic, each room had aircon, comfortable beds and there was heaps of accommodation. We'll happily stay here again next time we stay in Bright.

Great location and price, but be aware the property and furnishings are a bit older. Unfortunately we weren't told there was a boarded up hole in the proprty and an infestation of leaf beetles which we frequently had to vaccuum up. Nevertheless the property was functional for our large group and the kitchen we'll equipped.

Location was amazing. Fireplace was great and the kitchen was fantastic. We lost power on the first night which added to the adventure with the kids but this was quickly resolved. It’s a beautiful house but probably could do with a few upgrades. All in all we had a great time. Hope to be back to explore more of the region.

The house was great for multiple families and is set up well for kids. The location was excellent, within a short walk to the river play area and town.

A great central spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A group of five female friends stayed here for 10 nights whilst we learnt to paraglide in Bright. The house is great! The bedrooms are all upstairs and very comfortable (we all had our own room with double bed). There is aircon throughout which was awesome as we stayed in the height of summer, but the house stayed pretty cool even without it. It’s also really quiet - the sound doesn’t travel so you can’t hear people moving around or talking downstairs which was perfect (and would be perfect for families). Huge kitchen with lots of appliances and cooking equipment. Dishwasher, laundry. Two bathrooms. We were all really pleased with it and would definitely stay again. I think it would be awesome and very cosy in winter.The location is amazing. It’s pretty much as central as you can get. It’s a bit dated but it’s clean, spacious and feels very homely. Thank you!!!

Reviewer Comments: The house is in an excellent location but it is old and really needs some basic maintenance. The back door near the bins, some carpet areas, lino in the kitchen, new stove top etc. And it was not quite clean - dead flies on windowsills. And a lot of the utensils are quite old, broken, chipped, unusable etc.The linens were lovely and clean but the beds very uncomfortable (which I can live with for a holiday). Lots of towels which was great too.
