If you're looking for a quiet and private getaway to call home on your next retreat to Bright, this cosy little cabin gives you just that and more.
Hough's Cabin is an ideal getaway for a couple or small family. This 2 bedroom home offers a queen bed in the first bedroom and a tri-bunk in the second. The second room, geared primarily for children, has an abundance or kids' books and games to keep them well entertained during your stay. And if you choose to stay in for the occasional meal, the well-equipped kitchen provides all the household essentials for you to prepare yummy gourmet dinners at home.

A spacious bathroom and open plan living, makes this a very comfortable home for 4 adults or 5 with children.
The property has ample outdoor space for all the family to enjoy and a gazebo provides a lovely outdoor setting for BBQ's while keeping you sheltered from the elements all year around.

You are welcomed to the property via a lovely deck, which is bathed in sunshine and sure to be your favourite spot to enjoy morning brunches and sunset drinks with a view over the surrounding hill tops, well established gardens, neighbouring homes and bushland, this modest, home provides all the essentials of a home away from home.

Hough's Cabin is one our many pet friendly accommodation options. To keep your furry friends secure, the small rear yard is fully enclosed and complete with a kennel and dog run for those occasions when you may need to leave them home alone.

There's easy access into the state forest behind the property giving even more to explore. This home is located on the road towards Harrietville and is approximately 3km from the centre of town.

And to top it off, the spacious bathroom is also fitted with a washing machine ensuring you have everything you need to be comfortable with your family for your Bright holiday.
This property is booked for you and only you.

You will have the entire property to yourselves however bedroom access and price is determined by guest numbers.

We booked this accommodation as I was playing in a 2 day tournament at Bright Golf Club. It is a lovely cabin just on the outskirts of town. For the energetic, you could easily walk / ride into town. The cabin had everything we needed. It is Pet Friendly too which meant our four legged family member didn't miss out either.

Great location close to town, shops and eateries but also quiet enough to relax and enjoy getting away. Clean and comfortable with a good kitchenette and large bathroom. Good for a small family or couple.

Overall a beautiful location and well appointed house. My only complaint would be about the extra charge for using the 2nd bedroom when I made it very clear at the time of booking it was for 2 adults (mother & adult daughter) who would require a bedroom each. It was only a few days before when I reminded the holiday agent I was then charged an extra $35 per night to be allowed access and use of the second bedroom. It should not be assumed that two adults travelling together would sleep in the same bed let alone the same room.

Loved the cabin, good size & spotless. Well fitted out & linen/towels soft. Nice deck for happy hour & small run for pooch. A bit out of town, but very quiet & lovely views. Recommend !

Wonderful dog friendly property on the outskirts of Bright. Close enough to town to make a quick trip for supplies, takeaway or a to eat out but far enough out that its very peaceful and quiet. Great deck to have breakfast or an evening drink on and sweet little blue wrens that hop about the hedge near the deck.
