"The staff were extremely courteous & helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel and grounds superb. Will definitely stay again."

"Our fist visit to Montrose. Lovely hotel which met all our needs in terms of friendliness, cleanliness, amenities and location. We had a very plentiful, tasty breakfast. Great atmosphere in the evening when there was a live band and a busy function suite. Have already recommended this hotel and this town to friends."

"Was a clean and spacious place with lots of beds. Unfortunately one of our party was allergic to the plug in air fresheners. We had to red another hotel room for one of the members of our party. I would rent again though , just know of the issues."

"Lovely quiet hut for a perfect getaway! Everything is provided to just sit back and relax. Located in a quiet area and only a 5 minute drive to the centre of Montrose. The host is very welcoming and helpful. Perfect place and would definitely return!"

"The food was OK. However not as good as previous visits, a bit expensive and lacked choice."

"Friendly and helpful staff. A fantastic breakfast which is included in the price. The bar is quaint and friendly they have a steak pie that is fantastic."

"Very relaxing place to holiday in"

"Lovely cottage, it has everything you need. We received a lovely welcome pack, both for us and the dogs, which was a lovely touch. Cottage is in a great location to visit local points of interest, with some lovely walks right on your doorstep. Locals were extremely welcoming also. We will definitely be back, would highly recommend!"

"Great stay. Great hosts. Beautiful property, room and service."
