THE LAYOUT:
The Barnyard Bungalow`s private porch invites you to relax in the rocking chairs overlooking the grounds. The entrance door welcomes you into an open floor plan with modern farmhouse decor. A fully-equipped kitchen and charming dining area will make you want to stay in and enjoy healthy meals. The living room offers a full sofa, armchair, and TV. The sleeping loft is accessed by a ladder-style staircase providing a cozy, comfortable space to retreat. It features a king-sized bed with luxury bedding. The refreshing bathroom with a full shower, vintage vanity, and washer/dryer has a door that closes just off the kitchen/dining space for privacy. While you`re here, notice the wall decor featuring our very own barnyard animals. Every comfort of your stay has been anticipated at this modern tiny house retreat!

ACCESSIBILITY:
You will be the only ones with private access to the Barnyard Bungalow. NOTE THAT THE SLEEPING LOFT DOES NOT ALLOW FOR STANDING ROOM AND IS ACCESSED BY A STEEP AND NARROW, LADDER-STYLE STAIRCASE.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES: Hike or bike along the property`s scenic trails, or enjoy a private gathering by the lakefront. A fire pit and picnic table await at Sycamore Creek Beach for relaxing afternoons.

FISHING: Fish in the 5-acre pond connected to Lake Taneycomo, and bring your own fishing gear (MO fishing license required).

FARM ANIMALS: Visit the Barnyard to meet friendly farm animals and collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop.

BIKE RENTALS: Two adult bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, or feel free to bring your own.

GAMES & ENTERTAINMENT: Head to The Gathering Place for games like cornhole, pickleball, bocce ball, shuffleboard, and more! There’s also a playground, firepit, and outdoor activities for all ages.

Our 272-acre property offers plenty of space for exploration, with wooded areas, rolling pastures, and over a mile of lakefront to enjoy. While the property hosts occasional private events, you’ll have exclusive access to your Conestoga Wagon, and the outdoor spaces remain open for you to enjoy.

- COMMUNITY EVENTS: Sycamore Creek hosts public community events (with paid admission), which you’re welcome to attend during your stay.

- PRIVATE VENUE SPACES: Event venues like Shiloh Ridge, The Heartwood Barn, and The Gathering Place are off-limits during private events, but the rest of the property is open for your enjoyment.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

- SAFETY & SECURITY: For enhanced safety, we partner with Truvi to ensure the protection of our property and guests. Please complete the guest screening process prior to arrival.

- STARTER SUPPLIES: We provide a starter set of consumables (toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, coffee, etc.). Should you need additional items, local stores are nearby.

- PARKING & ACCESS: Separate entrances and parking areas are provided for event spaces. The Barnyard Bungalow is located directly across from the Gathering Place venue and next to the Barnyard.

- **Parking**
- Please park in specified areas. Do not block driveways or park on the lawn.
- **Smoke-Free Property**
- This home and property are entirely smoke-free. Smoking or vaping on the premises is strictly prohibited. If evidence of smoking or vaping is found, including odor, a $300 fine will be imposed.
- **Remote Controls**
- Please ensure all remotes are left at the property. A $25 fee will be charged for any missing remotes after your stay.
- **Consumables**
- We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and coffee. If these supplies are insufficient, please purchase additional items at any nearby store.
- **Quiet Hours**
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be considerate of the neighbors during these times.
- **No Pets**
- Pets are not allowed at this property. If evidence of pets is found, a $300 fine will be imposed.
- **Parties**
- Parties are not allowed on the premises.
- **Cleaning Fees**
- **Excessive Cleaning:** A fee will be charged for excessive cleaning if the property requires additional attention beyond normal wear and tear. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Stained or damaged linens
- Excessive trash or leftover food removal
- Significant cleaning beyond standard cleaning practices
- The fee for excessive cleaning will be determined based on the extent of the cleaning required.
- **Long-Term Stays**
- For bookings exceeding 2 weeks, an inspection and a mid-stay cleaning will be required at your expense.
- **Security**
- Please lock doors and windows when leaving the property.
