"Beautiful property, gorgeous rooms but it’s the extra touches like free wellies to use when it’s muddy, free popcorn, drinks and snacks in the corridors, wine hour, free homemade biscuits etc that make it even more special. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved the serene spa space we had almost to ourselves. Staff also couldn’t be more helpful. Will be back in summer to try the outdoor pool "

"This is our second visit as Mother and Daughter - it's becoming a pre-Christmas tradition. We love this hotel. It is so cozy! Always clean, always friendly and always a welcomed retreat. Spa, restaurant etc is lovely. Parking great and the bus stop directly outside takes you straight into the town centre for a bit of shopping - such an easy place to have as a base for exploring and staying in Winchester. We'll be back again next year!"

"I was visiting from the United States. The hotel was very nice. The front desk staff was excellent getting us a taxi to the port. There was only one gentleman who had not a very nice attitude and he worked at the bar, tall white guy. I had a handicap room that I did not care for, but that was all that was available when I checked in overall The hotel was nice."
