"Host was helpful and quick to respond to questions. We did have trouble with the air temp as the AC window unit was right next to the bed and the radiator was underneath it. The radiator was blasting heat and we didn't know how to turn it off. Host responded quickly and advised to turn the valve (sounds obvious but we didn't want to strip it and there were no instructions we could find about the heat - we were looking for a thermostat). "We loved it! The apartment looked just like the pictures. It was close to everything we needed- 10 minute walk to Pentagon, 10 minute walk to metro train. The only down fall was we didn't know about paying for parking - we found out the day we left though so were able to get it taken care of before we arrived. "A winter stay didn't allow for seeing all the benefits of the location, but it seemed like a good spot for metro and highway access. The building is dated but clean. The unit was clean and functional. The kitchen was fine and well appointed with all of the expected necessities. The bathrooms are in need of updating. Some water damage is evident. "Overall, the location of this place and the apartment itself is wonderful. The check-in process is cumbersome, as well as the process to get/use the garage access. However, I would do it all over again, the price for parking here is much cheaper than anywhere else. There is quick and easy access to DC via the subway. Definitely recommend staying here with a family versus in DC for much more cost."
