Spectacular ski chalet by the Bran Castle

Spectacular log home on the outskirts of the forest, The Carpathian Log Home offers comfortable accomodation on three levels. The ground floor comprises of a high ceiling living room with fireplace and glass facade to the valley bellow, open plan modern and fully equiped kitchen, a dining room area for 10, a spacious bedroom with ensuite full bathroom, sauna and jacuzzi. The ground floor is surrounded by a large terrace, offering magnificent views to the mountains and the valley.

The first floor comprises of two large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and own terrace, while on the third floor there's a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a gym area with breathtaking views.

The house is surrounded by an apple orchard and green pastures, Bucegi Mts on the east side, Piatra Craiului Mts on the west side, at north is the valley above Bran and you can see the Rasnov Fortress in the far back.

Outside you will find a wooden gazebo near the bbq area, a wooden swing for your relaxing afternoons while enjoying the sights. The villa gets sun all day long and the privacy of the area is perfect for sunbathing. Being situated on a very high position, near the forest line, the Carpathian Log Home is rather isolated from the main village. You won't be disturbed by any noise here, perhaps only the cow bells will break the silence. At night you can see the lights of the village bellow, while the star lights will seem closer than ever from here.

There are many hiking trails in the area, starting from the small villages of Bran and going all the way up to the peaks, but you can also just walk around and never get bored. The Bran area is also perfect for cycling, mountain biking or more off road adventures.

The local ski slope is only a 5 minutes drive from the house, but the famous Poiana Brasov with its modern slopes is also very close, only a 15 minutes drive on a very scenic road.

Important note: If you're going to rent a car, I highly recommend renting a 4wd car, Dacia Duster is a very good option for these roads. The last 200 meters to the house are steep and unpaved, it can be challenging to make it all the way up without 4wd. If you don't mind parking 200 meters down the road, then don't worry about 4wd.
