Large Historical property with 2 cottages to rent.
2 storey stone building with 2 bedrooms (2 queen beds), sofa bed (sleeps 1 only), 1 bathroom and kitchenette with dining area.
Smart tv, internet and fully equipped kitchen.
Adjoining cottage (see Crabapple Cottage for seperate booking) has one queen bed, kitchenette, bathroom and all amenities of other cottage with verandah overlooking large grassland to the river.
Shared BBQ.
Both cottages are fully furnished with quality linen, towels and a choice of pillows.

Location is excellent for walking to restaurants and winery in Berrima. Phil and Annie very friendly and welcoming, including putting up t he sun umbrella and outdoor chair cushions so we could enjoy a board game in the lovely backyard. Lots of birds to watch too.

We ticked all the boxes at Daphne Cottage!!

Accommodation exactly as described. Very comfy bedrooms upstairs. Unique fireplace which we used. Hosts were lovely! Lots of local knowledge & very friendly with our border collie. Fabulous large garden going down to the river which we kayaked in! Saw an enormous wombat at our backdoor - scared the dog (& me) - very funny. Ate at all the good local places. Very good location. THANK YOU!!

Winter escape

We loved the cottage and especially loved the location.we wanted to use the outdoor fire pit but we weren't sure how to use it so we text the owner but we got no reply. It was a lovely getaway but more suitable for a couple getaway.

Cute cosy cottage - 2 large comfortable rooms upstairs with heaters & electric blankets Old stove fire downstairs along with aircon. Tiny kitchenette located in the open plan living area downstairs— which has everything you need for a few days away (no oven but has a cooktop). Tea bags, coffee pods, Nespresso machine & milk in the fridge on arrival. Things like salt & pepper, glad wrap & paper towel on hand was appreciated. Really feels like you’re in a home Fantastic large backyard extending right to the river edge - shared across host home & two rental cottages. This place is truly dog friendly - hosts are happy to have small furry friends visit. You may also meet another guest in the second cottage, who may also has a furry friend. (It’s quite nice to make a friendly connection in a very small town where chances are you’ll bump into each other at the pub, shop or a cafe.)Loads of beautiful birds visiting or flying over the backyard: black cockatoos, king parrots, rosellas.Backyard is fenced but there are a few gaps where wildlife sometimes dig holes under the wire — I wouldn’t leave an adventurous dog in the yard unattended.Very kind & caring hosts Phil & Annie living close by, ready to help if needed. FYI — we had read past reviews before we came & took a night light for the bathroom, avoiding the noisy fan at night. 4 adults - 2 couples - stayed for 2 nights over a winter weekend. Would happily have stayed longer. Hope to return again!

Cosy Cottage

Lovely cosy Cottage, great location, grandaughter loved playing in park across the road, had everything we needed for our short break, would happily stay again! Phil and Anne were very welcoming and close by if needed.

Beautiful Berrima

Our young family and new pup had a wonderful stay at this cozy, well fit-out cottage in the most wonderful location (directly across from a fabulous playground). The hosts were wonderful and welcoming and the garden was perfect for the kids and dog. Great base for a few days exploring the southern highlands, or staying warm and cozy in Berrima. Thank you!

Great location, easy walking distance to local playground (across the road), cafes and restaurants. Off street parking. Clean and tidy property. Kitchenette, with 2 ring stovetop and microwave. No oven. Very friendly hosts. Would happily stay again.

Charming Cottage in Berrima

This was our fourth visit to Daphne Cottage. It was a terrific stay - the cottage is cosy and beautifully located and Phil, the owner, is excellent to deal with.

Lovely Berrima Cottage Stay

Beautifully appointed cottage with a pretty garden that has a stream at the bottom of it. Fully fenced and secure for dogs. Centrally located in the heart of Berrima and close to restaurants, local pub and shops all within walking distance. My friend and I and our two little dogs had a wonderful time. Highly recommend it.
