"The perfect location for all of your Isle of Skye exploration. Nice staff and good clean rooms. My husband and I found the room nice with a beautiful first floor view of the grounds but a little cramped and maybe needing a little refresh. We were told it was an upgrade due to the view, however the room was next to the housekeeping closet which meant it was quite loud early in the morning. The breakfast each morning was lovely. Everyone we met on staff was really helpful and kind."

First, beware when booking that the individual cabins (hides) are located up gravel paths from the main reception, bar, and dining room. Ours was at one of the furthest points, a quarter mile from the parking up a very steep hill. A staff member will deliver your bags by golf cart, but cannot transport guests. Cons: It’s a very basic accommodation and the buildings/rooms show wear and tear, The drive in is 2 miles of one lane with not many passing areas."
