"Excellent accommodation in great location on the Derwent river. "

"It was a lovely place to spend a few days. Great comfortable place with very friendly staff and delicious food. I would recommend to anyone considering."

"Cheap and cheerful, very eclectic (which suits me). The staff were lovely and helpful. Microwave in the room was great so we could make good coffees in the morning."

"The host was very friendly, but style/ age of the house and style fits well for older people."

"Awesome"

"It was very noisy on Friday arvo when I tried to take a nap. Room is not sound proof at all and I can hear my next door having a shower or even taking out the clothes from the closet! The design of the sink makes it impossible to take water for kettle! No one ever complained?! The worst part is it didn’t have an elevator!!!! I had to carry my heavy luggage up and down!!! How hard is it to have an elevator?! Also, the towel rack was broken and it was on Sunday so of course no one to take care of...

"all good, clean and friendly "

"This is a beautiful boutique hotel on Elizabeth Pier in Hobart. It is a superb location and close to all the tourist spots so great for exloring Hobart on foot. The staff are very friendly and helpful even during a fire evacuation. Highly recommended."

"Last second booking turned into a really nice stay. Old-building character with all the modern amenities. The host was more than gracious. 100% recommend."

"Great location close to main attraction and restaurants/bars. Spacious and confortable room in a beautiful building. On-site parking is a plus. "

"La verdad un hotel con un servicio excelente, la habitación amplia y muy limpia, muy bien ubicado muy cerca del Salamanca Market y de la zona del centro. Me gustó mucho."

"Absolute scam – avoid Nightcap at Carlyle Hotel. Expedia must delist it. Booked through Expedia and paid several hundred dollars. Then came pre-check-in links that tried to charge me the full room rate again. Completely senseless. At check-in they demanded a $100 card deposit. Never properly disclosed. Normal hotels swipe for a $1 authorisation. Here they wanted a full hundred after I’d already paid. When I objected to this unreasonable demand the manager refused service and denied me the room....

"Magnífica recepción, atención y limpieza. Un lugar para no olvidar"

"La esterilla incorporada en el colchón fue una grata sorpresa"

"This is an older property, that shows its age. I stayed in a room that was part of the main tower building; the room was a nice size and clean. I really appreciated the fridge and microwave + dishes provided. The front receptionist was lovely and kind, I felt so lucky to be able to check in early which afforded me more time to explore. The motel is about a 10 minute bus from Hobart cbd but there are so many bus stops nearby and with the public transit being free it was dead east to get to town....
