"Very old world so just what we like,unfortunately weather spoilt it for walking.good parking.but thought price for very small room a bit too much.and too many stairs for elderly folk!Breakfast was excellent!"

"Just booked this last minute as we were at a music festival just down the road from second one I was met with the most friendly staff I was shown round everywhere then taken to my lovely room perfect. When we arrived back we were again met with a lovely staff member and our sleep was amazing highly recommended must stay here if your in the area "

"I have often stayed at this hotel when travelling for business in the area and it never disappoints. The service, staff, ambience, excellent food and easy car parking, makes it a must stay. Always a genuine welcome and the pwners / staff happy to chat whilst you're there. Fantastic breakfast and a great dinner menu, congrats to the chef for thier consistent wonderful, tasty food."

"Given the restrictions of a very old property (grade 2 listed) they have done a good job updating yet not spoiling. A charming and comfortable stay."

"Lovely apartment in great location next to city centre. The owner had an issue with previous guests who trashed the apartment, however when we arrived the apartment was clean and in great condition. Only issue was a slight dampness to couch due to him having to clean because of previous users. This would not put me off using this apartment again, thank you for the use of your apartment"

"Absolutely amazing! The staff were fabulous, and so friendly, and very accommodating. Thank you so much Rosie and colleagues. Our rooms were immaculately clean with lovely bathrooms, and a picnic breakfast basket. I highly recommend this beautiful pub/ hotel."

" FERRY BOAT INN NORTH FAMBRIDGE ESSEX IT WAS THE UNIQUENESS OF THE PROPERTY HOW OLD IT WAS, THE FOUNDATIONS OR PART OF THE BUILD OF THE PROPERTY WAS FROM THE TUDOR PERIOD OR THERE ABOUTS. THE SHOWER DRAINER WAS TANGLED UP WITH GUNGE WITH HOLIDAYMAKERS BODY HAIR AND GUESTS BODY PARTICLES WHICH WAS VERY UNPLEASANT. "I don’t usually leave property reviews, and I tend to avoid places without a host check-in due to past bad experiences. However, I must say the check-in process was the easiest I’ve come across, clear instructions and codes made it seamless. The room was a delight and had everything I needed. I’ll definitely be using Urban again!"

"Allison and cliff are very friendly and great cooks. The breafull English breakfast was outstanding. The rooms and home was so comfortable. I enjoyed being a about one hour outside of london and being able to explore the countryside. Cambridge. Castles, the north sra, and many other great sites."
