"Sheets and towels smell like they haven’t been washed"

"No. Not again. Wall switches that didn’t work. Table and desk but no chairs. Disgusting stain on the couch. Huge gap under the door to the outside that rain and snow blew in. No elevator and on the second floor and had to go outside to get to lobby. Card stopped working every single day. Doors slammed stuck every time it was opened. Wifi was so weak to not really work. No pool. No fitness room. Breakfast had no protein, no muffins. Coffee was okay. Toilet made a horrible noice after flushing. "

"1 King West is now our go to in Toronto. The Hotel’s location is premium. The staff are excellent and every aspect of our stay was amazing. "

One thing to note: if you do require parking, recognize that the garage fills early and it may be closed if you're out and about late at night. We had to park on the street in the early afternoon because the garage was full, but there were two spots available when we came back later in the evening. It's also very tight, so plan your vehicle size accordingly. "

"This hotel was centrally located and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see/do. We felt safe in the neighborhood. There is a cable car right outside the hotel which we did use once to get to the distillery district. There is also a Shoppers Drug Mart down the block. We got a room with an amazing view of the CN tower. Such a beautiful sight at night. Our room (two beds) was spacious. Lots of storage space for two adults and a child. The beds were comfortable. I noticed the attention to the small details from the overall decor of the room, to the pillows & linens, to the robes & slippers, high end soaps & lotions, pitcher of water w glasses and wonderful room service continental breakfast. There was even a secret cute speakeasy bar/lounge across the hall. Loved it ! One small negative is the area is not great & there is no parking "
