"Such a wonderful motel to stay in for a quick trip to Castlemaine! It was so cozy, modern, clean and comfortable, and had all the necessities such as a kettle, hairdryer, soap, etc! "I had a room with king bed, and I was very happy staying at the quality lakeside bendigo. Everything was in "like new"condition. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, the aircon heated the room quickly, and the bathroom was spacious. I enjoyed the location near the lake, and the restaurant in the hotel was convenient and good. All service staff where very kind. "

"Booked a superior room with rollaway bed and was pleasantly surprised to get 2 connecting rooms, 1 for the double bed and 1 for the rollaway bed. Clean rooms and cafe on the ground floor was great. Only feedback would be to have the body lotion outside the shower instead; otherwise I would definitely be staying there again."

"The central location cation near the Bendigo Art gallery and shopping centre and park is great. I love the ambience of the rooms with their heritage feel and fireplace. The adjacent courtyard with cumquat trees is ann andded bonus and the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s also great to have the adjacent Wine Bank restaurant and bar for a great meal or tapas and a drink. The room rate is extraordinary value for what is provided. I love coming here."
