"From booking to check out everything was great. Room was super clean and comfortable and we loved the extra treats in our room 😊 so close to a bar/restaurant and gas station. The restaurant next door has great food and service too! Only thing to mention is there is no sign by the road so we did pass it the 1st time. But would stay here again. So convenient to our family in Gwinn and Skandia"

"This simple, no-frills, property was close to everything! We could walk to NMU campus, downtown, and lots of cafes right down the block. As noted in the listing, it is right across the street from BlackrocksBrewery, so we could hear music from our rooms and a little bit of street noise from people leaving. There was a fan provided, that helped with white noise, so everyone was able to sleep OK."

"I loved being in this comfortable, cozy and clean apartment that has all one needs. Location is great, within walking distance to everything you'd need or want. I would love to stay here for several weeks or months actually! The stairs were a bit narrow which made it somewhat difficult taking my luggage up for me...but I would still come back!"

"This is a beautiful property with lovely amenities. We enjoyed the fancy kitchen and the built-ins. The coffee beans were a nice touch. The shower was gorgeous and the beds were wonderful. We had a great time exploring the city and spending a couple of lazy evenings watching TV. We did have trouble with the remote on the TV in the bedroom. It doesn't appear to be the batteries. "The house has been updated and has a very nice upstairs bathroom. Hosts have attention to detail; artsy decorations, games for kids and adults, reading material, wood swing, fire pit, etc. As pics show, decks in front and side of house as well as sun room for chilly mornings or inclement weather. Kitchen well supplied with cooking utensils. We felt very welcome. Lack of internet and poor cell service (our phones are mvno) made communication difficult but who goes to Big Bay Michigan for...

"This was my second trip staying at this home. The host is very responsive and pleasant to work with. The home is clean, cozy and is stocked with small amenities such as spices, antibiotic ointment, bug spray and recreation maps of the area. I visit Big Bay multiple times a year this is now the first place I check for availability!"
