"Lovely hotel in a good position on the outskirts of Eastbourne , walking distance from the lovely village of Mead. Where there are shops and two pub/ restaurants. We found the staff to be both helpful and charming . Many thanks for an enjoyable stay ."

"This is an impressive grand old hotel with professional, friendly staff. We really enjoyed its position on the seafront and its two pools. However, parts of the hotel are very dated and staff were overwhelmed at breakfast, which meant service was slow and detracted from overall experience. The bed was too soft and pillows old and flat. The bathroom was a museum piece! For these reasons, we felt it was very overpriced.It needs alot of money spending on it to modernise it."

"It’s a great boutique hotel in a lovely setting which has been very recently tastefully renovated. All the interiors are stylish, great SPA, good restaurant and service, wonderful outside spaces incl. pool. Breakfast is a bit limited but good, coffee isn’t great Lots to do in the area as well. "Wasn’t sure when we arrived as outside of caravan could have done with a jet wash. Inside though was lovely we couldn’t fault it at all. Some reviews have mentioned the garden not being secure but we had no problems at all. The park itself is very very hilly but beautifully kept. The club house was very clean and all the staff we met were very friendly. One small niggle - we didn’t realise it had limited Wi-Fi and would have been happy to pay a charge for extra Wi-Fi. Overall a lovely time was...
