Beautiful Bethany House in Salt Pond 1.5 miles from beach! All Seasons are nice!

Enjoy all of Salt Pond's Amenities such as golf, tennis, pickleball, gym, pool & jacuzzi. You get to enjoy an inside pool off season when the outside pool is closed. For a day of leisure, development is great for bike riding or fishing at the pond. After enjoying the Beautiful Bethany beach only 1.5 miles away come home and enjoy the private jacuzzi overlooking a fenced in backyard and a stoned patio with plenty of seating for a nice barbeque. Of course a fire pit on the patio just to end your day with smores!! Enjoy all the amenities this house offers-bikes for your use, chairs and umbrella for the beach and 2 grills for cooking outside. Also supplies are many board games, puzzles and books to enjoy on the game table in sunroom. Easy check in-no realtor! 2 washers and dryers for your use. 3 large smart tv's and WIFI and tv in every bedroom. Access to the amenities requires an additional fee. It includes pool, fitness, tennis and pickleball. We will provide you with 6 passes. 4 additional passes will be available for $50 per pass for the week. Children under 16 are free so let me know ahead of time how many is needed. Golf access is a separate fee to be paid to Salt Pond. If you would like bath towels, we rent them for $10 a set- please let me know how many-it will be added ahead of time. Any questions please feel free to email us at vhoutz@gmail.com

Great stay ever I had I would say. Such a warm welcome with some goodies. House was so well maintained Omg. They were having having lot of things for everyone. Kids enjoyed reading books and playing games. Lot of board games were there. Kitchen was well equipped with lot of cookware. Ample space inside and outside. It was a great experience. Victor and Kathy were great. Would love to visit again

We had a two week stay, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time there. Our first week consisted mainly of adult friends who spent a lot of time in the hot tub and playing cards in the “poker room”, (aka the sun room). Week two was family - bike riding, boogie boarding, golf, board games and beach time. The house is beautiful and immaculate. Our hosts were very responsive- we had no issues there. It’s an ideal setup for large families.

Perfect Three Generation Vacation

Our three generation family totally 15 loved this house and community. The house is very spacious and allowed all to have their own spaces. You have everything you could possibly need provided for you. The house is in pristine condition and the owners are so quick to respond to any questions you have. The hot tub was a huge bonus. We have already booked to return next year!

This home was a wonderful place for our large family to gather. Both the inside and outside areas allowed for a multitude of options for gathering groups of all sizes. The house itself was clean and very comfortable, even for our group of 9 adults and 8 children. The house amenities like the bikes, hot tub, and games were a huge hit. The golf, pool, and community games were extremely close as well. The homeowners were helpful and responsive to requests, both before and during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

Sanctuary living while being a stones throw from all the action.

A remarkably well thought out beautifully spacious home placed in a tranquil outdoor setting. It has all the amenities you could want. Fire pit. Plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. A huge hot tub that is in tip top condition. And set in a beautiful area that is part of a conservatory. The back yard is attractively fenced and offers a great deal of comfort for parents with toddlers. Kayaks, paddle boards, access to Salt Pond swimming pool, great golf course are all there for you to enjoy. The Salt Pond has become one of my favorite places to stay and the Houtz home is the cherry on top!Wonderful stay and look forward to next year!Thank you Victor and Kathy

Great house!

Three generations enjoyed this house. There was something for everyone and we were not on top of each other. From the outside area to the bikes and ping pong area to a quiet office room area, everyone had a place to be and enjoy. It’s a great house and great hosts!

Beautiful Beach House!

Victor and Kathy are very responsive hosts and answered all of our questions. When we first entered their home, my thought was, “Wow, the home is so much better than the pictures!” Our family enjoyed the spacious home and community activities (including pickleball, shuffleboard, basketball, and a round of golf). After long, hot days, it was wonderful to return to the comfortable home with lots of spaces for our entire family! Board games, puzzles, and the occasional ping pong challenge were family favorites in the evenings. Their home is perfectly situated for easy access to any of the local beaches and other activities! We had an amazing week and know you will too!

Perfect Beach Getaway

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay with family at this beautiful home. The house had plenty of room for us, our children and their kids to spread out, and the deck and patio areas allowed for great places to eat and relax. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, but also enjoyed kayaking, fishing and playing games in the backyard. We appreciated the inclusion of passes to use the indoor pool, although we didn’t find the time this trip! We will surely be back again! Thanks Victor and Kathy for making sure everything was perfect!

A perfect getaway

We had such a nice time in Bethany. The house was pristine and the neighborhood was warm and friendly. We had everything we needed and more. Comfortable beds, jacuzzi was a plus, and the pool, fitness center, pickleball and kayaking kept us busy and entertained. Oh and we loved playing ping pong. We even loved the outlets and downtown Bethany on a rainy day. Kathy and Victor communicated quickly and answered any questions we had. Everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. We already booked for next year. LOVE salt pond!

Amazing trip!

This property had everything we could ask for! The hot tub was beautiful and well maintained, the fire pit kept us entertained after dark, the kitchen was stocked for any cooking endeavor, and ended the day with a comfy bed! Loved it so much, we already booked our next stay!

Perfect Family Getaway

We were fortunate to find this house available for a family getaway in September. From the beginning, Kathy was absolutely wonderful with communication whenever I had questions, and she made the whole process so easy. The home had every amenity that we could need, and then some! The welcome gift was such a thoughtful touch. We were so happy to have a pack and play and a high chair available so we didn't have to bring these things from home. We were also so glad to have the fire pit and hot tub available to us to enjoy after our child went to bed each night. The house was big enough that we had more than enough space to spread out, and there were so many interesting and comfortable areas to sit and enjoy a meal or a drink or just a good book. The pool was just a short walk, and though we didn't get to go out on the water, we did make our way to the kayak area just to check it out. We also enjoyed how close this was to everything, while still feeling secluded and quiet. We are already planning our next trip back for next year with even more family members for a longer time!

Perfect

We had a wonderful week! 4 generations of our family stayed here. The house was great. So much space for all of us, we had room at the table to cook and eat in and play cards together, we spent time playing pickleball and tennis at the clubhouse, we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit back at the house. Everything we needed was there, in great condition. This house is well taken care of and a we had the best time making memories together. Fantastic location too, short drive to the beach, 15 min to Dewey/Rehoboth. Half hour to Ocean City Md.

Best VRBO rental!

The hosts have set a new gold standard for VRBO rentals - this property went so far beyond our expectations, especially with attention to every detail that a guest might need. Our family of 7 adults, one 3.5-year-old and one 1-year-old took full advantage of the many living areas inside and out, the fabulous hot tub, as well as the swimming pool/tennis courts/playground which are just a few minutes' walk away. The house is so well-equipped, including the kitchen, high chair and pack and play, to make it very comfortable traveling with children. (There are even games and puzzles available.) Everything looks new and has been maintained impeccably. Communicating with the hosts was easy at every step of the process and they responded instantly to any questions that came up. I cannot give this stay a higher rating or recommend it more highly. We can't wait to return!

Wonderful and Relaxing stay!

We had such a great family vacation thanks to Kathy and her beautiful home. There are so many places to relax so you don’t feel on top of one another. We really enjoyed playing games in the sun room, the hot tub was such a bonus, the beds were comfortable, there was so much in the house we didn’t need to pack a ton of extras! The walk to the pool was convenient and it was amazing to have passes included. When a couple little things popped up, Kathy took care of them super fast. Would highly recommend!

What a beautiful beach home!

The house was just perfect for our family! Fully equipped and then some! Lovely outdoor spaces which were perfect for al fresco dining, complete with hot tub! Spacious living areas on 3 levels. The home was immaculate when we arrived. But what set this home apart was the attention paid to us by the owners. So efficient, friendly, and responsive! I highly recommend this home!! And I will definitely return.

An amazing place!

This was our second time here, and we can’t say enough good things about this home and location . Our family loves this house and association as well as Bethany Beach . The house and all the new updates are gorgeous and it has everything you could possibly need. The owners are a delight to deal with and very helpful. There's no place like Feeling-Being HOME!

An absolutely beautiful home; with the added touches of the Host! The grounds, neighborhood & all the extra added amenities & more! The communities pool, golf, playgrounds, tennis, pickleball, basketball, paths for riding bikes; (many at our Hosts home), grocery store right on/in the community, near to restaurants, beach minutes away, landscaped a lovely sight, too! I needed more stars to give this Beach Home Highly Rated, comforts & enjoyment for our Families stay!!! Can't wait to be back next Summer! Fab Property

A great property for multiple families with kids (ours ranged from ages 5-10), with very responsive hosts. The location is very good for those who are happy to mix it up - some beach days, some pool days, some days just hanging out at the house. The different levels and living/relaxing areas make it easy for people to gather, but also to have “separate time” as needed. The home was very clean and very well-equipped with kitchen equipment and essentials, toiletries, games, bikes, and beach necessities (towels, umbrella, chairs, toys, etc.). The hot tub is SUCH a bonus! I’m normally not a hot tub person but this one was so clean and relaxing - and it was great to have the outdoor shower on the deck nearby as well. The house is close to the pool, playground, clubhouse, courts, etc. - pretty easy walk to/from, even for the kids. We also found it convenient to have a grocery store adjacent to the development (although liquor stores are a slightly longer drive away). Thanks for the fab stay!

Loved this house!

What a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood and so close to Bethany Beach. The house had everything we needed and it was very clean. The outside space was amazing. We loved the pool so close by and all the extras in the house. The kids loved using the bikes to ride to the pool and showering outside lol. The two washing machines was a plus. We would love to stay here again. The owners were so nice to deal with. There was nothing we would change! Thanks for a great family vacation.
