BAYSIDE TOWNHOUSE AT INDIAN RIVER INLET-POOL-TENNIS- WIFI-1 to4 BR BETHANY BEACH

Our Bethany Beach home sits on a point of land extending into the Indian River Bay at the Indian River Inlet. It is a multi floor condo with three totally private bedrooms and bathrooms. There is also a semi private 4th bedroom that has a full private bath and is a loft with an opening overlooking the kitchen.

It is our home for many weeks of the year and we initially open up the calendar so many others can enjoy the water of the Inlet, the water of the bay with gorgeous sunsets and an 82 slip marina on the third side.

The fourth side is the access point from the Indian River Bridge- Route 1, going out to the Atlantic Ocean .8 mile away. Walking to the beach, you will go past the community (South Shore Marina) tennis court and the clubhouse and outdoor heated pool. Passing through the gate you will walk along the inlet and watch all the boats and fishermen casting for their dinner. Closer to the bridge is the Delaware State Park with restroom facilities and The Big Chill entertainment center. The state park has a 600 space parking lot that costs around $10 a day for parking. Get ready for the beach as it is beautiful and lifeguarded in season.

Back at the condo, you will find all beds made up along with bath towels and ready to go. Go up half flights to each bedroom and enter the 20 x 20 kitchen with a huge table and chairs or step out onto the balcony and overlook all the comings and goings of the fishing fleet. Better yet walk down and meet them as they love to talk. Or rent a charter and go out fishing for the big ones.

The living room is about 20 x 20 and has a walkout balcony to enjoy the bay, especially the sunsets or since the tides constrict at the inlet, enjoy the water sounds as they rush by. During the morning dolphins will play along the jetty or in the inlet. Come dinnertime the heron will stalk its prey in front of your eyes. The seal may come up on the rocks out front if the birds are not carpeting the jetty. Look up and see all the planes going overhead up and down the coast or heading to Europe.

Beyond the jetty will be shallow areas where boaters pull up and have their bar-b-ques fired up. See who forgets the tide left their boat high and dry!

With free private WIFI, flatscreens in all but the marina bedroom and loft bedroom and spectacular sunsets, the garage which will accommodate one Lexus size car and two cars facing the garage, you will be very sad to leave. In fact 45% of those leaving want to reserve the same week next year which reduces the number of openings to new people.

ALL WEEKS DURING THE SUMMER ARE SATURDAY TO SATURDAY....but it never hurts to inquire at the last minute about a shorter stay and if available we can make changes in the VRBO platform to accommodate your needs.

We will send you emails about Assateague, the lookout towers, many fine restaurants, places to shop, and other amenities in the area along with our 16 page custom Welcome Manual. It answers virtually every question we have been asked since 2012.

Beach Week

The house and surroundings were fantastic, and let's talk about the Beautiful Sunsets. They were Spectator! It was secluded enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of beach life but close enough that you are only minutes away. I would refer anyone and everyone to this property in the future. Chad & Rose Ann are some of the Best hosts we have ever experienced.

Outdated and run down. Even though there is a gate into the community people from the neighboring camp grpund came through to use rhe pool despite it having a code. Clearly people have the code so security is inadequate.

Just what we needed :)

My family and I had a great stay! We particularly loved the view of the sunsets each night and the short drive over to the beach- The Big Chill was fun also with incredible views of the sunset/ocean and bridge. It is a short drive to several other great restaurants/seafood. Our kids had fun crabbing and catching a few keeper flounder just out the back door. Thank you Chad and Rosanne for the memories and opening your place to us!

How to have a great beach vacay

Our week was as near to perfect as is possible, I think. The condo’s location—facing the bay, adjacent to a marina, minutes from the ocean—-and the fact that the condo gave the 7 of us plenty of room to spread out/be together as we preferred, made it an ideal spot. Add to this that we lucked out with the weather, and you can see why we had such a great time.

Exactly what we needed!

Chad and Rosanne were wonderful hosts, answering any questions and made numerous helpful suggestions. The views are breathtaking, the pictures do not do this property justice. The pool and tennis courts were a nice extra activity for the family. The walk to The Big Chill so convenient and nice for a quick drink and ocean view. We parked there on beach days. Don’t hesitate if considering this beach getaway rental! Highly recommend!

Great hosts, fantastic sunset views!!

We had an amazing time at the property. Close enough to bike to beach (5-10mins) while also enjoying the piece and quiet of this private community. Townhouse is updated and clean. Have the essentials stocked to get the vacation started. We had an amazing time watching sunsets on the balcony! Hosts are helpful and responsive. Definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful locatio

We took our daughter and her family. This their first family trip ; twin 1 year old and a 3 year old. The layout was perfect… we brought packnplay for the twins to sleep in and big sister stayed in big bed!! Separate bathrooms and bedrooms ideal. My husband loved sitting and watching the boats…

Awesome place!!!!!!!!

First off, it is beautiful. The views from everywhere, especially bayside are just wonderful. It was my wife and I and 5 kids, 3 of whom are in their 20's. Nice walk to the beach, pool was clean and the house was spotless. Chad was great with communication prior to the visit and the check in guide was, no lie, the best I've ever seen. There are tons to do in very short car rides. Would recommend this house to anyone. We are not normally come back to the same place every year people, but this was spectacular enough to make us think twice.

Great Family Vacation

The pictures don't lie, the views are great! This property is in a great location, not too far from Rehoboth or Fenwick Island, we even traveled down to OCMD for a day. The pool is an added bonus. We had 7 adults in our group and there was plenty of room in this house for everyone. Would definitely book again!

Great time and considering another stay

We had received a last minute cancellation on another rental and Chad made the transition to this one very easy. He provided a lot of information and suggestions for things to do, and was immediately responsive when we reached out. Incredible views out of the property and lots of space inside are just two of the many reasons to consider here. Everything was great and we appreciate all they did to make our stay a fun time.

Great stay at the beach

Wonderful townhouse with gorgeous views of the bay. Plenty of room for everyone. The host, Chad, is very responsive and offers tons of suggestions. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Bethany.

Chad and Roseann went above and beyond to make sure my family at the best vacation ever! The views from their balconies are amazing. The townhouse itself is so beautiful and has everything you could ever need for you stay! Beautiful gated community with a community pool and the ocean within walking distance or a very quick drive! Exceptional Water Views, Magnificent Sunsets, Wonderful Stay

Although I had seen several photos of the gorgeous views surrounding this spacious, fully-equipped townhome, I was not prepared for the breathtaking beauty of the Indian River Bay, nor the perfect scenic positioning of this Marina vacation rental. Nor had I expected the sound of the gently breaking waves at night, nor the trilling of the seagulls that carpeted the jetty every glorious morning. I have stayed in the Rehoboth/Dewey area on past trips, but the resort environment around the Delaware Seashore State Park was a revelation. The house itself has everything that I wanted including quick access to the beach, a pool shared by the gated community, and enough bedrooms with connecting baths and balconies so that everyone experienced a luxurious level of privacy. Homeowner Chad is amazing. His efficiency and warmth made for a welcoming stay and a flawless family vacation. Superb.

Something for everyone at this beautiful property

Great option for an extended family or two families vacationing together. Whether you want to fish, swim in the pool, head to the beach, or read on the balcony overlooking the bay, you'll be happy here. It's very clean, updated, and spacious. The property has been well cared for by owners who go above and beyond to make your stay easy and comfortable. Beautiful Views and comfortable patio seating

Our family had a great time! There are 6 levels so there are a lot of stairs. Thank God we had the stair chair for my mom. Your mostly on the kitchen and living room level during your so stairs are not that big of an issue. Chad was very informative which was very much appreciated. Hardly anyone was at the pool so it felt like it was our own. We would definitely rent this home again!

Delaware vacation 7/17-24/21

The condo was superb as well as the location. Being in a marina, the views of the boats were wonderful as were the sunsets from the west side balconies. The owner was pleasant and always available by text or by email. The condo was clean, it had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our family, and the amenities were just what we needed. The pool was a short walk from the condo and most of the time we had it to ourselves. The beach was a short drive from the condo. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on our vacation to Delaware.
