The Space:
We started off with the mission of making the #1 BNB in Bergen. We bought a 100-year-old house literally in the middle of the city center and wanted to make it a unique starting point for the best stay of your life. The vision is to provide you with an authentic Bergen experience, maintaining the historical architecture and charm of the place while combining it with all the modern amenities you could ask for, for a luxurious and ultra-comfortable stay.

The house is located just 150m from Byparken (the midpoint of the city center) and 200m from Bergen Train Station. Yet, it offers complete calmness and seclusion. You wouldn't believe it until you arrive.

The Neighborhood:
The street Markesmauet is nestled in the heart of the city center, just meters from vibrant city life, yet secluded in the calmest street in the mid-city center. The house is located at the end of a blind port, ensuring privacy despite its central location. One street up, you will find the legendary pedestrian street of Marken, where several cozy cafes, small shops, and plenty of grocery stores await. Additionally, all the main attractions of Bergen are within a short stroll, as well as all transportation options. This location is truly a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

Engen Restaurant & Bar (for dinner)

Getting Around:
CAR:
Free parking is conveniently available at the doorstep, with plug-and-play EV charging if needed. Expect some narrow streets and corners just before reaching the house.

TRAIN:
The train station is a mere 200m away, making the walk effortless even with luggage.

CITY LIGHT RAIL / BUS
The city center light rail stop "Byparken" and bus stop "Olav Kyrres gate" are both within 200 meters, offering convenient transportation options, including a direct route from the airport to the house.

BIKES & EV SCOOTERS
We've stocked up with city bikes for you to explore the cobblestone streets of Bergen like a local. For an even more adventurous ride, jump on one of the rentable EV scooters found in the surrounding streets.

Other Things to Note:
NOTICE:
☞ Some of the stairs have low ceiling height.
☞ The mighty seagulls of Bergen will be your neighbors and sometimes like to chat early in the morning and late at night.
☞ To navigate to the parking spot outside the house, be prepared for some narrow streets and quirky corners.
