The neighborhood is the Abbot House Condos, an affordable and well-located condo complex built in the late 1960s in Sunriver, Oregon. It is known for its proximity to The Village at Sunriver, Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center (SHARC), and other local attractions, making it popular for both residents and visitors.



Getting Around:

To get around Sunriver, the best options are driving, biking on the extensive paved trail system. Biking is particularly popular due to Sunriver's flat terrain and over 40 miles of dedicated trails, which connect residential areas, shops, and recreation spots. For longer distances or trips outside the community, driving your own vehicle is the most practical method, while ride-sharing is available as an alternative.

Family of 5 with Dogs

Good location right next to the village. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs, but were surprised on arrival to learn that the dogs couldn’t be left unattended in the condo. This was problematic for us since we have two dogs and only one kennel was provided. Plus, my dogs aren’t crate trained. I wish we had been informed of this rule in advance. It also would have been nice if the patio was gated for the dogs. Otherwise everything was fine.

Perfect location

We decided to have a last minute summer trip and the property was right next to the Village which was awesome. We had daily and nightly bike rides to the pool. It was nice and close to the freeway for day trips. The beds were comfortable. Nice little cozy place. I did have sufficient fans for the warmer weather.

Great last min stay

Location cant get any better- the condo is right next to the village grocery store, short walk to all the stores. Spotless and had everything u might need in the kitchen to cook. Directions for check in/out were easy. Doggie welcome bowl was very cute- I enjoyed being able to let my dog out from the back porch& it was conveniently right next to trails. Overall great stay, the only downside is 1 bathroom for the 3 bedrooms- if u have more than 2-4 people it might get a little inconvenient 😜.

Great stay

The place was exactly as expected. 3 bedroom condo with one bathroom in great condition. We figured since it is a condo, it would not be large, but still worked well for seven adults (3 younger adults in bunk beds). Good value for the money and great location, very close walk to grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, and other shops.

Decent condo centrally located

Located steps from the village. Delivery trucks are LOUD early morning. Kitchen is small but has all the amenities. Comes with 2 bikes which are barely rideable; time to tune up or replace. Rooms are very small. Nice big deck with two dining tables and grill—lounge chairs would be ideal. Overall a pleasant stay for a small family that plans to spend most of their time outdoors.

Great location but needs major updating/additions

There were pros and cons to this stay. I will start with the pros. LOCATION! We've stayed in Sunriver a lot and this was by far the most amazing location. We could walk everywhere and never had to be worried about the teens going off on their own, since we were right next to the Village. Also, loved the bunk bed room. So great for kids! It backs up to a green space which was perfect for having a dog with us. Now for the cons..... No air conditioning. Ugh. This could be so easily solved by a window unit or just a free standing AC. It was so hot, even in the evenings with everything closed up and the fans blowing, that we had a hard time sleeping. There is a king bed in a room that should have a queen. It was hard navigating in the room or having space for our luggage because the bed took up the entire room. There is no full length mirror, which is only a problem because there is only one bathroom. When you have multiple women/teen girls staying, you need to have room for people to get ready since the bathroom is taken constantly. If those cons were addressed/fixed, we'd be staying here every year.

Wow, pretty much sums it up!!!

There were four of us; Mom, Dad, Daughter, 24, and Son who turned 21 during our stay at this charming, homey, clean and very economical condominium. To be completely honest everything was perfect and our little getaway was left with no complaints. Thanks for making are short family getaway so special!!!

Great Location, great value

Great value for the price! The condo is located right next to the grocery store in Sunriver Village shopping area and it was easy access to the SHARC. It was a great base camp for two small families. The kids loved sharing the bunk bed room. There was also a pack n play available for use, but we did not use it on this trip. All the hooks in the hallway were great for keeping everyone's towels and pool things organized as there wouldn't have been room for that in the bathroom. The kitchen though small had all the basics, but I'm short and was looking for a stool so I could reach the glasses. If I had the time I would have reorganized the cabinets, but I didn't want to spend my short trip doing that and was able to find what I needed with a little effort. We had a toddler along on this trip and I'm glad we brought our own booster seat for the dining area as I didn't see one. If you don't need an abundance of space this place provides good basic accommodations. Due to the size it would be best for one family or two small ones that are very familiar with eachother. Now for those of you that are more nitpicky: The carpets could use a bit more cleaning (maybe the vacuum needs to checked out or maybe the carpet is just due for cleaning). The kitchen cabinets need a little reorganization and purging - so many serving bowls! Would love to see a few kid safe cups added and maybe stocking a little foil and plastic wrap. Lastly, on our last night when I went to use the washing machine I opened the door and it was stuffed full of unwashed sheets and towels from previous guests - those I did wash after completing my own laundry, but separated into smaller loads because that washer was so stuffed I don't think it would have actually cleaned the items if I had put them in the way I found them. So maybe a little more attention to detail by the cleaning staff overall. As I said though these were more nitpicky things and did not majorly detract from my stay - we would definitely return to this condo and recommend it to others.
