The Space:
Welcome to Pony Express 16795. The perfect vacation rental for families and friends looking to experience the beauty of Sunriver. With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, this custom home ideal for all your vacationing needs.

The spacious living area has a large sectional sofa where you can relax and watch your favorite movies or shows on the flat-screen TV. The dining area is also quite spacious, with a large table that can comfortably seat up to eight guests.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. You can cook your favorite meals and enjoy them at the dining table or on the outdoor patio, which has a gas grill and plenty of seating for the whole family.

The master bedroom provides a king bed, a large spacious bathroom, and door leading out to the back deck. The second room provides a king bed with its own bathroom. Head upstairs and there are two additional bedrooms, a bunk room with a pyramid bunk including a full and twin, and the 4th bedroom has a queen bed. The 5th bedroom is above the kitchen over the garage and has a separate door that will take you up to the king suite with a private kitchenette, coffee bar and tv.

Other amenities in this unit include Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, private hot tub and access to the community’s swimming pool during the summer months. You can also rent bikes and explore the beautiful trails around Sunriver. Have an electrical vehicle? Pony Express provides an EV charging plug and 50 amp circuit for you to use while you are here.

**Note**
Per the neighborhood HOA campers/RVs cannot be parked at this home and cannot be used as overflow accommodations. Camper/RV storage is available through the Sunriver Owners Association which has two secure lots you can rent space in.

Due to the Extreme Fire Conditions that exist in and around River Meadows, the board has voted to temporarily prohibit all smoking from any of the common areas within our community. This includes any area that is not private property, so please no smoking in River Meadows for August and September. Once the extreme conditions no longer exist, the temporary ban will be lifted.

This home comes with parking access to Big River Marina parking lot. A great place to swim or to launch your Kayaks.

Very nice property. The property management company was very helpful. We requested early drop off of our luggage prior to checkin and it was accommodated. With respect to kitchen facilities, all was good except: the refrigerator is undersized, had interior drawers that didn't work properly and an ice maker that wasn't working. The stove burners could not be turned higher than the lowest setting. It took over 30 minutes to make a pot of coffee. In the apartment, the refrigerator was not working, and no cups, plates or utensils (other than plastic) were provided. The Wi-Fi was excellent. Checkout was easy. Overall, the property was very comfortable. Suggestion: upgrade the one bedroom with a queen bed to a king bed.

Spacious, well designed river home with upscale decor

The property is well designed and excellently situated on a quiet street. Landscaping emphasizes the natural environment including frontage on the Deschutes River. Interior decor is organized tastefully around a western / high desert theme showcasing local/regional artists. Management company is extremely responsive and well informed. Overall an excellent vacation home.

New Years Trip

We welcomed the new year with staying at this beautiful home. We had a great time, the home is spacious and has everything you need and more. Great place for families to gather. Really enjoyed it, and the communication was top notch. Defiantly a place to return too.

Great spacious home

Home has everything you want and is well laid out. Very spacious. If you plan to do a lot of cooking there is limited storage for guests and no access to additional fridge. Additionally, the range is only four burners and not of high quality so it takes a while to heat up and cook. Even with those small items, this is a great place and we recommend it!

The house was beautiful and the backyard was breathtaking. We spent many hours by the fire pit until the wee hours of the night. Need more room for garbage. When I needed help they responded fast and very personable personnel

Cool place

Cool place, great location within walking distance to a dock to get into the river. Very tentitive team replying to any needs I have. Overall a nice place, just things in Sun River are becoming super expensive but a nice plice.

Excellent location

This is a beautiful home with a great view of the Deschutes River. It would have been a lot nicer view from inside the house if the windows had been clean. The patio area is great and we really enjoyed setting around the fire pit. The house was fairly clean with the exception of the floors. They were very poorly vacuumed or mopped with a lot of "dust bunnies" in the corners. The house was quite comfortable and we loved the layout. Plenty of room for all to be together.

Perfect family retreat

Great family retreat house and beautiful view. House had a great setup for the whole family. My whole family was very happy with my house pick. Would definitely go back. Nice Place

Better than we expected. Shared the house with 4 couples, Super comfortable and excellent layout. A little more South of Sunriver than we expected, but the property was sure worth it. The included apartment above the garage was a great surprise.

Spectacular and Serene Shangrila

If there is such a thing as a perfect house, then this is it! The design of the great room takes your breath away the minute you enter the front door. Natural light streams through large and abundant windows, and most have a view of the Deschutes. The outdoor lounge areas are gorgeous with plenty of comfortable furniture and beautiful landscaping. The interior furnishings are luxe and immaculate, complete with original paintings of local scenery. The kitchen exceeded expectations--it is a gourmet's delight! This house will not dissapoint even the pickiest of people, and you may find it hard to leave as it doesn't take long for it to feel like home.
