Viatges a Belmopan

The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize.

Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality. The location was great. The Casitas were nice however the property did not show as nicely as it did online . Our pillows smelled like sweat. And the restaurant across the street again did not present as nice as the reviews online. And our server that day was extremely rude, which was ironic because the sign on the door said, leave your shoes and attitude at the door. The food was OK but very limited. We did not utilize the spa or any of the pools so we can't speak to that but overall, it was a three star stay
