Sea Dreams cottage sits 100 feet from the high tide mark. Relax to the sound of the surf, loons and harbor bell and watch lobster boats pass by. Plenty to do at the cottage; spend the day on the beach, bring your kayaks and set out right from the beach, spend time with your kids in the playing field or sit and read a book. Watch seals and loons from the cottage. Young's Lobster Pound for lobsters in the rough is 3 minutes away. It is also centrally located for day trips; 1 hour 15 minutes to Acadia National Park, 25 minutes to Camden, 40 minutes to Rockland, and 5 minutes to Belfast center.

A return to paradise

Our second visit in 2 years. Set your alarm for the awesome sunrise. Perfect location for Arcadia, Camden, Rockford, Port Clyde,Bar Harbour , we also stopped on way in Kennebunk Port beautiful. Put Clam Shack And Reds especially Reds on your list. Biggest lobster roll in the world. Had a lobster omelette with leftovers. We love this cottage this year our 30 wedding aniversary

Beautiful Setting

The view from the inside the cottage was so great we were tempted to never leave. The location is super convenient to Belfast and all of our favorite MId Coast Maine spots. The host was very responsive to our needs. Hope to come back soon!

Amazing time spent at the cottage

The cottage was very clean and well-equipped. We also enjoyed the location and felt like it was easy to get around to see different sites/attractions from here. The path to the water made spending time bay side easily accessible. We enjoyed ourselves and recommend!

Quaint cottage in an ideal location

We had a lovely stay enjoying beach combing and beautiful sunsets. We traveled to Rockland, Rockport, Camden, Rangeley Lakes and several other fun stops and the cottage was a perfect home base. The owners have thought of literally everything you may need for your stay. Probably the most well appointed vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at! The perfect size for our family of 3. We did rent kayaks from Ducktrap kayak as well and had a great experience.

The greatest escape!!

We rented this beautiful property for a girls trip - my sister is getting married and my mother and I wanted to celebrate her in style. Talk about the perfect escape! Directly on the ocean, we enjoyed walks along the beach, a soak in the ocean, and coffee as we watched boats go by. Sipping mimosas while watching seals swim was icing on the cake! The location is conveniently located just a few minutes outside of Belfast, a community with just about everything, without it being too large and touristy. We enjoyed a nice dinner by the water, walking the main streets to visit the unique shops, which were not touristy like typical oceanside locations. We even took a 1/2 day trip down to Lincolnville to visit the winery there. Our three day stay was had a little mix of everything and it was so nice to have this home to rest an unwind in. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, thanks to this perfect little retreat! The home contained everything we needed - comfortable beds, a beautiful kitchen that had everything we needed, a wonderful sitting area that was perfect for the three of us, and a great outdoor area, where we enjoyed lunch at the picnic table. While the homes are somewhat close together, it was very, very private. I would highly recommend this home to anyone!! And Janet made the process very, very easy for us. I'm thankful to her for welcoming us!!

A Gift From the Sea

I was overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of Janet in the way she had the cottage stocked with all the necessities for cooking and cleaning. The cottage was clean and lovely with windows that open to the sea breeze in every direction. The beach pathway is 25 yards away and Janet even provides binoculars in order to see the seals and boats and birds all around. The bed was so comfortable with great linens and towels. This is a premium listing and I’m overjoyed that I got the chance to spend 3 nights there! Thank you Janet!

Beautiful coastal stay!

This was a first trip to Maine and we were unfamiliar with the area and not sure what to expect. We enjoyed the drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. I wish we had more time to spend in Belfast. The downtown area is so cute and we loved the local brewery! If I had it to do over again, I would have skipped Bar Harbor and stayed right in Belfast. I definitely recommend this property. The owners have thought of everything to make it a home away from home and anticipate all the things you might need for your visit. The only downside to our stay was it wasn’t long enough.

Lovely Stay in Belfast

We stayed here for a fall wedding in Winterport. Cabin was great for my family and loved being closer to Belfast. The rocky beach in front of cabin is great to explore. We found the place to be very clean and the mattresses to be comfortable. It’s a quick 5 minute drive to town. We would stay here again!

Girls' Reunion

This was a perfect place for three of us! The photos do not do justice to the cabin-- there are more updates than you can see. We woke up to amazing sunrises every morning and had wine at the picnic tables every night...just lovely!!

Amazing views

This was an amazing place to stay, dial down and relax. The views are spectacular. The location is very close to Belfast and all it has to offer. This place afforded jaunts to other places to explore within 45 min to an hour.

Beautiful cottage

Cottage had a breathtaking view of the water. Very clean. Towels are very old, stained and rough, no air conditioner. When we arrived, everything was locked up and extremely warm inside. ( no fans on) With windows opened, only room to stay cool was kitchen. ( bedroom was hard to cool) There was AC but wasn’t allowed to use it. ( we had some really warm days).

Getaway

A relaxing getaway in a well maintained cottage. The views of the bay were relaxing and magnificent. Enjoyed the wildlife on the beach from the seals to bald eagles and many hiking areas close by including Acadia only an hour drive away. After working up an appetite all day we enjoyed the many restaurants close by in town.

Perfectly accurate listing

Very clean! Perfect location! Felt just as comfortable as being at home. Loved walking on beach at low tide - lots of beach to walk, very private and quiet. Definitely want to come back. Owner extremely easy to work with and responsive. One of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had.

Belfast stay

The cottage was very well equipped and in a beautiful location on the ocean offering a nice and peaceful setting. Yet the location made access to downtown Belfast within minutes and centrally located to make day trips to other tourist locations such as Bar Harbor or Camden. My wife and I loved it and are interested in returning again sometime next year!

Charming Cottage by the Sea❤️

This spectacular cottage by the sea stole my heart from the moment we pulled up. Sitting by the sea, it has everything you would want and more. The pictures don't do this property justice. It is so beautifully done. Very nice finishes and lots of little extra touches maje it the perfect home away from home! The view is spectacular!! And listening to the waves only added to the enjoyment!! We will definitely rent this place again!
