Villa Destina is located in Begur, a small, historic Spanish town, located in the Baix Empordà region. Built on a hill, near the unspoiled, beautiful coast of the Costa Brava, without high rise buildings. It is only 42 km from Girona and 125 km from Barcelona. The holiday villa is detached, bordering on a dead-end street at the edge of a forest. The spacious sunny (southwest) garden around the villa is 1200 m² and offers a lot of privacy. There is enough space to relax, play and enjoy the quiet. Adjacent to the living room is a covered terrace with a large table overlooking the mountains of the Emporda. Villa Destina is located just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea. Lots of sunshine, pleasant temperatures and warm seawater during the summer months are good for body and mind. This region of the Costa Brava (Baix Empordà) owes its healthy Mediterranean climate to the so-called "Tra muntana" (wind from the Sierra Nevada) which provides the area with clean air.

Villa Destina (max. 8 persons) has 3 bedrooms, of which 2 with 2 single beds (90x200 cm) that you can slide apart. The 3rd bedroom has 2 bunk beds (80x200 cm). There is 1 bathroom in the villa with toilet and shower. The guest house can be hired with the villa and offers 2 beds and a bathroom. In the living room is air conditioning, as well as in the bedrooms and the guest house. The villa is fully equipped for a carefree vacation. In addition to all kitchenware, there is an electric cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker (Nespresso), water boiler, toaster and a spacious fridge with freezer compartment. There is a washing machine in the outside bathroom. The outdoor kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge with freezer and fixed BBQ. The bed linen (1 set per person) is included in the rental rate and there is a towel service. In and around our holiday villa you can be online all day, even at the pool. There is a TV with Spanish channels in the room adjacent to the living room, so you can also use the internet for free.

You can cool off in the 8 x 4 meter private swimming pool, with Roman steps. The pool starts with a depth of 90 cm and runs to a depth of 160 cm. By the pool is an outdoor shower. The swimming pool has a warm, pleasant temperature due to its location to the south-west. There are sunbeds around the pool, but there are also lovely spots on the patio to enjoy the shade. The outdoor kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge with freezer and fixed BBQ and large (dining)table.

Villa Destina is suitable for 8 persons but there is a wooden chalet (Casa Madera), behind the pool, that can be rented with the villa and offers 4 sleeping places (2 single and 2 bunk beds) which makes Villa Destina very suitable for two families. This chalet can only be rented with the villa and not separately. The chalet has air conditioning.

The surroundings of Begur are often called the Spanish Riviera. There are no high-rise flats, but only quiet hills, a whimsical coast, little bays and ancient villages. The most beautiful golf courses in Europe together with beautiful natural surroundings and clean beaches. The walks along the coast (Camins de Ronda) are one of Begur's most important and famous attractions. On the Begur beaches you can rent a sailboat, book an organized boat excursion, or arrange a kayak trip. Around Begur there are also some beautiful diving spots like the Medas islands, a protected natural reserve. 35 Golf courses can be reached within 50 minutes of Begur. The nearest course is in Platja de Pals, a few kilometers from Begur. The mild climate in Begur is ideal for year-round cycling. Baix Empordà has an extensive network of rural roads far from the main roads. In the interior of the region you cycle over hilly roads with often beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. The surroundings of Begur are known for their rugged coast and beautiful beaches. The Pals Beach is 3.5 km long and hence the largest beach and offers a great view of the Medas Islands. Smaller beaches and picturesque bays are those of Llafranc, Tamariu, Aiguablava, Fornells, Sa Tuna, Sa Riera and Illa Roja. Llafranc.
