"A unique hotel. The inside, whilst being modern with all the amenities you would expect and more, still maintains a 'castle' feel. The staff were super friendly and attentive and provided sound advice when asked about the local area. A good choice for breakfast, which was excellent. A really fantastic stay."

"The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. "The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. Our room was very pleasant ,though a “proper”wardrobe would have been appreciated. "The owner was nice and very helpful. She printed out a map for use to show us the places we would like to visit and a few free parking places in Saunderfoot. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked every morning. The location is not bad, 5 mins or maybe even less to drive to Saunderfoot town centre/ 20 mins walk. Tenby was about 10 mins drive away. The room had everything needs,plus a nice coffee pod machine and Welsh cakes. Parking is included which was great."
