"The room was perfect for a solo traveler. I had a great view of Lake Lucerne. The room was soundproof so I did not even hear the wedding reception that was going on right below me. The staff go the extra mile to help with any request. The ferry arrives twice per hour and there is a bus to Weggis for light shopping. Paddle boards are available and there are a few stairs to the water. Highly recommend!"

"Incredible views, peace and quiet, with wonderful service. Only down side was bathrooms far too small and limited choice on the breakfast buffet. Ideal for the ferry and a very big plus was the Viennese cafe."

"Great position on the Lake with easy access into Luzern, CHF4 each way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with standalone Aircon which proved useful during our visit. Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good. Shame for us was that there was major expansion construction work going in directly in front of the hotel and although 'paused' for summer we were not told about any of this until a few days before we arrived. Despite the 'pausing' there was still noise and dust being created directly in front of our room (and almost all other rooms) every day by workers apparently dealing with...

Toen we aankwamen en vanwege de hitte een drankje wilde bestellen gaf het hiervoor aanwezige personeel aan dat we nog een half uurtje moesten wachten. Zij hadden namelijk pauze. "From the tome we checked in to the time we checked out after three nights, our experience was the best we had in Switzerland. The area of Weggis alongwith nearby villages etc is exceptional and do beautiful, away from the main tourist circuit. The rooms were very comfortable. "I loved the location right by the lake. It was very comfortable to relax and take a dip in the lake or the pool. It was also very easy to get to from Lucerne. I was able to go up to Mt. Pilatus do some sightseeing and still have 4 PM onward to relax by the lake for my day trip."
