"This is a very basic “motel” type of property. Our room overlooked the parking lot with our window directly in front of a parked car We asked to be moved and got a room on the back side facing some greenery but had a passageway for staff hauling noisy laundry carts right outside the window. Hallway rugs are tired and worn. Atmosphere was institutional and soulless. Location is off a round about in the middle of nowhere with poor signage to find the property. "Lovely overnight stay, the most welcoming and efficient staff. Beautiful family room, comfortable and impeccably clean. Lots of parking. Excellent value for money. "

"We had a lovely one night stay in the cottage. Great for self catering and enjoyed having stables outside where we could see the horses. Lots of space and a nice log fire to enjoy. The breakfast was delivered to the cottage at our chosen time and was really tasty. "

"We came to see Avebury and it was magnificent. We took the train to Bathe which was also wonderful. We made the mistake of not coming with a car which limited our access to many places. So come by car! However our hosts were helpful with rides and went above and beyond. Warm, friendly and gracious. Wonderful breakfasts! "

"We (my two adult daughters and myself) just came back from a 12 night stay in the UK. We went to 9 hotels, and this was our favorite! It was so quiet and peaceful there with no outside noise. The setting was beautiful with lots of outside dining spaces. The rooms were nice and the staff was super sweet. Breakfast was amazing with large, cook to order options. We would definitely come back and stay again!"

"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."

"Beautiful pub and room. Breakfast was delightful and staff were very friendly. On the expensive side but you get what you pay for."

"An established and historic hotel built of Bath stone just outside Corsham,Wilts off the A4 road to Bath. The grounds of 2/3 acres are beautifully maintained and with a tennis court. Excellent all round"

"We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. "
