"Location is superb, 100 ft to Chippenham bus station, and leads than 10 minutes bistro from the train station. Room is spacious, so is the bathroom, big and renovated. Courtyard is nice. There is a leisure pool at site too. Huge parking lot at back. The buffet breakfast offered was full English style and truly great. Staffs were super friendly. "Property delivers beautiful views, but the good was average and below expectations, the fans provided in the bedrooms were inadequate and I barely slept a wink, disturbed further by an early morning brewery delivery below my bedroom window. I won’t be staying again :-("

"Ok, so this is one of the cheapest hotels in or around Bath. It’s clean and the breakfast is fine for the price. I have seen some reviewers complain about the variety but seriously what do you expect at this price. Our room was ok but very very warm. Location is great and with a bit of investment could be upgraded a few levels but then again so would the price. Uber was approximately £10 to Bath City Centre. "Ancient coaching inn, much extended and modified, so many awkward staircases to negotiate, but that's all part of the historic charm of British pub hotels! Excellent car parking - plenty of easy space. Standard "chain pub" food: clean, fresh, hot and cheerfully served, but not inspired or inspiring. Greene King do, however, know how to brew and serve a proper beer, so overall "satisfactory plus"."

"Apex hotel is a modern, comfortable and convenient hotel very close to all the main action in Bath. The only two things preventing me from giving this property full stars are the beds (rock hard) and the fact that breakfast is not included (and the buffet, though generous, is far too expensive for someone who eats so little).
