"Very nice hotel. Great food and the staff couldn't be anymore helpful. Make sure to book a room with air-conditioning in the summer though as the hotel can get quite warm. Overall, a great stay in a nice quiet woodland location with wild deer spotted roaming the grounds. Would stay here again if in the Basingstoke area."

The swimming pools were clean and were providing experiences for small children whilst rhe other pool catered for over 18s. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"This is a very old characterful property, with low beams etc. Venue was chosen for a small family reunion and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff were all very polite, helpful and patient which adds to the enjoyment. The food was really excellent and thanks to the chef none of our group had any complaints, Definitely recommend."

"Arrived and checked in quickly. Efficient young chap did all the preliminaries and we headed to our room. Room was in the main building at the front.
