"The Hotel Schweizerhof in Bern is an iconic hotel right in the centre of Bern, within easy walking distance of the train station, shops and restaurants. "We were originally in a room that faced out to a noisy street, but the staff were more than helpful in accommodating us in another quiet room. They were also very helpful in answering the many questions we had as first-time visitors to the lovely city of Bern. The Hotel National is a very old hotel, but the bathroom had been fully updated and the room was lovely. The included breakfast was very nice too — just what we needed to fuel our site seeing adventures!"

"This hotel is delightfully quirky. Rooms are interesting and well equipped. Biggest shower I had in Switzerland, great location between the clock tower and train station. There is a huge lounge with multiple living rooms and a full kitchen and fridge for guests. And free coffee drinks. I recommend for short and longer stays."
