The Grande II Apartment, for Families only.

--Accommodation for families only. Guests need to be quiet at night while in the apartment. We do NOT accept stays of group of guests under 21 y.o., which are unaccompanied by adults (over 30 y.o.)--

Accessibility - 3 floors above street level. Elevator

Apartment description - Bright and pretty 3.5 bedroom apartment (like a 4 bedroom, except access to one of the rooms is through another room) with 2 bathrooms one with bathtub, the other with shower.
This apartment has a glass-enclosed balcony, as well as a small balcony off the main bedroom. Also, it still has the century-old mosaic floors (a different design in every room), the original woodwork on the doors and windows, and high ceilings.

Full kitchen including oven, microwave oven and full-size refrigerator.

Laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

42" flat screen TV in living room.

For maximum comfort this apartment has central air-conditioning and heating, with ducts.

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at a short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi.

Management - We are a small family company. Lauren is from Dallas, TX and Fernando is from Barcelona, Spain. We currently run 20 holiday apartments in Barcelona, 2 furnished homes in Dallas and 4 holiday apartments in Istanbul.

Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) but in just one of the bedrooms. The other three bedrooms are very quiet.

Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 8 people. It can sleep up to 8.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:00 (4 PM) for occupancy. You can drop your bags in the office in the morning already. Check-out time is 11;00 AM. You can request reserved early check-in or late check-out for a fee of half of the nightly rate, subject to availability. There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in.

Towels and linens are provided, plus a starter supply of shampoo and soap, oil, salt and sugar, coffee.

Excellent location. We were a group of 8 (including young adults). We were able to walk to the Sagrada Família , las ramblas. Even to the pier. Rooms are comfortable. Lots of restaurants and coffee places around. For sure on my list of properties to rebook if available on my next trip to Barcelona.

Great place to stay for families. Close enough to easily explore by foot or metro but not super busy, crowded or noisy. We had a small problem with the water heater that was immediately fixed. Building felt safe and we were very comfortable for a group of five.

This place was really wonderful. It was so quiet we couldn't believe we were in a city. Management made the check in process so easy. We had one very minor issue and they took care of it immediately. The place was clean and comfortable.

Highly recommended. 7 adults and plenty of room. Location was perfect. Clean and nicely furnished. No complaints whatsoever. The floors in the building were creaky and I know we made noise for any downstairs neighbors. We heard the floors above but it was not a problem for us. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Excellent stay!

Die Wohnung hatte mehr eine abgenutzt Stimmung als eine Altbau charm. Wir haben 2 Nächte dort verbracht. Die Badezimmern war sehr klein und hatte flecken in Badewanne. Für den Preis waren wir nicht zufrieden und müsste noch den Müll selber entsorgen. Wifi Einstellungen könnte besser sein. Müsste auf mehrere wifis verbinden jenach welche Zimmer waren wir.

The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk from the stunning Sagrada Familia (15 min walk(. The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
