The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this modern and bright 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom flat, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, perfect for those traveling with children or friends. The neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Gran Via de les Corts catalanes, the main avenue of Barcelona.

The Space:
Welcome to this 95 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Barcelona’s historic Example district is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.

This apartment features a bright and comfy living area with its own dinning table and opened to a well-equipped kitchen.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 4 people distributed in 2 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed

The Neighborhood:
The apartment is conveniently located 5 minutes away from Gran Via de las Cortes Catalanes avenue and in the very middle of Eixample district. This elegant, majestic boulevard was a showcase for Barcelona's bourgeoisie at the turn of the 19th century, and links the the whole Example district. The presence of Barcelona's finest modernista buildings makes this avenue a veritable open-air museum.

Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***

- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 2.25€ + VAT per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. Also, from 2022 Barcelona City Council applies 3.25€ + VAT to the tourist tax as a city tax fee, also per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights.

- This cost of 6.65€ per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights IS NOT included on your reservation.

- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.

- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)

*** HOUSE RULES ***

1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.

Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Though small, this is a great apartment in a lovely neighbourhood. It was a little difficult to figure out the access, but once you got it...smooth sailing. The little terrace was awesome an lovely to sit ou there at the end of a day touring and have a glass of wine

great location, misrepresentation of facility
Although the location is ideal and the person with whom I communicated was responsive, the overall experience was negative. The photos of the apartment make it look far, far better than what it really is. The bathroom is miniscule. I am 5'6'' and weigh 15o lbs. I cannot imagine a person bigger than me not having serious problems showering there. The sofa bed might be a wonderful bed, although we did not need it so I don't know, but as a sofa, it was incredibly uncomfortable. The place is probably ok for a short stay but not for a longer period of time, as we did. I could go into more details, but I will conclude by saying that my wife and I have been going to Barcelona for the last 25 years, almost yearly. This is probably one of the least welcoming places where we have stayed. Not worth the steep price.

Wonderful trip to Barcelona!
My family loved the apartment and very much enjoyed our time there. It was attractive and comfortable with plenty of room and light. Also , the location was perfect for touring the city. I was happy I chose this apartment instead of a hotel as we had more room and could make a meal together when we wanted . The porch is also a nice additional feature .

Well situated and clean apartment that doesn't live up to its promise
The quiet apartment is spacious, but the furnishings are not what we expected from the photos and the descriptions: There were not enough dishes, glasses and cooking equipment for 4 guests, so the dishwasher was not useful. The heating and the electric jalousie in the living-room didn't work.The floor lamp in the living-room was out of order. There were no table runners and no pictures but one with a broken frame, only some remaining nails on the walls. What a shame! This apartment really needs some care. Then we would come again.

Clean Apartment Centrally Located
We pretty much only slept here after day trips & exploring Barcelona. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Grocery store across the street - was nice to make coffee in the mornings. Metro stop close by. Owner was very helpful & gave us recommendations for restaurants. No clothes dryer, but there was a drying rack on the patio. Appreciated the toiletries that were provided and the fans in the bedrooms. Overall a positive experience.
