Summary:
The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to our modern and bright 2 double bedroom / 2 bathroom flat, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, perfect for those traveling with children or friends. The neighbourhood is safe and family-friendly. It's strategically located with a lot of public transportation options including a subway stop one block away and several buses lines on your doorstep.

The Space:
Welcome to this 105 m2 spacious and modern apartment. You will find 2 units unified as 1 so you will be able to have privacy and much space in both bedrooms with their individual kitchen (please note those are rented together and there is no option to rent them separately).

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 5 people distributed in:

The Neighborhood:
Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.

Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Verdaguer (Lines 4 & 5).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€

Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***

- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 6.25€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.

- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.

- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)

*** HOUSE RULES ***

1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.

Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Great apartment in Barcelona

Great apartment in Barcelona. Easy walk around area. Was able to walk to beach even! There was a block neighborhood party happening while we were there, which was lovely to hear live bands playing through the night. Apartment was as pictured and met all our needs. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Great location. Cute Apartment.

We felt like we were living the local life, with its balcony overlooking the daily traffic, and with us getting some local groceries, getting take out food from a lot of the nearby restaurants et, all in between our daily walks to most attractions. Can’t get this feeling while staying at any hotel.

Lovely Neighborhood in Barcelona

We spent 5 days in Barcelona with friends. Liked that we each had our own areas. The elevator was helpful for getting our luggage up and down. The neighborhood is blocks from the Rambla and Gaudi's Pederer and Casa Batlio, easy to walk. Lots of great bakeries in the area and a wonderful Mercado as well. Will need to taxi to the old city but taxies are plentiful. I was glad that we were not staying in the old city, felf more like a neighborhood with less tourists. Over all the apartment worked out well. Some minor problems but owner was able to address.

Nice Enough, Good Location, Not Bad

This place was advertised as two apartments combined into one when in fact it is two apartments opening into a common foyer. One apartment is larger, with a small sitting area and kitchen. The second is a studio apartment. The beds were very comfortable. The street is a bit noisy but quiets down at night for a good sleep. The bathrooms are curiously designed with steps up to the toilet and shower stall (which was rather small for a large American man). A grab bar or two are needed in both bathrooms to avoid a slip and fall. The key "app" worked very well, and the staff were responsive and helpful. The location is quite good, a short walk to the Sagrada Familia, and a slightly longer walk to the Ramblas and the old town. Taxis were easy to summon using "FreeNow". In sum, a nice enough place in a great city bursting with tourists.

Difficult to access due to our age in downloading electronic key entry. Apartment 1 is on the 3rd floor. Apartment well centered in Barcelona and ample for 2 couples. Electronic ignition for range non functional. Need a local contact person in the event of problems.

The apartment unit was as presented in the description. It was quiet, comfortable, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. When we reported maintenance items they were promptly addressed. We were not able to view TV on the unit in the apartment and if the front balcony is considered outdoor space it is very limited in size. We never located the desk and office in the listing. Furniture, especially the chairs at the kitchen table could be updated. In general we enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room for a couple. Great to have the elevator for accessing the unit. Electronic lock was a little tricky at first but once we figured it out it worked well.

Needs maintenance

Apartment had two units, A & B. Plenty of room with well supplied kitchen with dishes, utensils and pots. Unit B needed maintenance from the moment we arrived; bathroom sink drained into floor, AC turned off, no AC in bedroom, clothes washer had broken handle so wouldn’t open, bed support collapsed when we got in. Maintenance sent after midnight so we didn’t let them in. They came back next day. After we were there, we discovered the showers drained so slow you were standing in water, safe was lock, many light bulbs were out, AC blew black stuff out, to exit you had to use virtual key which needed WiFi to work. Apartment B has few windows in living/kitchen so apartment is on the dark side. Only windows in unit A had a view. We found main attractions were 30-40 minute walks so used taxis a lot. Grocery store and restaurants very close. Check in was an issue because we were told we could drop our luggage at apartment because cleaning team would be there at 1 pm. We arrived at 2 pm and previous renters were just leaving and no cleaning team there. We waited an hour but no cleaning team arrived so we had to take our luggage with us until 5 pm check in time.

Great location walking distance to everything!

This was a lovely apartment. It was not fancy but clean and very comfortable. There is a market across the street which is very convenient and a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We enjoyed some of our meals at the restaurant downstairs which seems it be a local favorite. It was wonderful! We had a couple small issues and were grateful that management was quick to respond. The only improvement I would recommend would be to update the showers as they are a little worn and tricky to operate. All in all, we still give it 5 stars!

Great property!

Our family included four adults, plenty of room! The area was perfect for our activities, loved walking around and finding all the wonderful restaurants right by apartment! It was nice at the end of long days to chill in our separate areas. The owners were wonderful to work with. Easy to communicate and quick responses from the many questions I had! Rent this place if you have the chance!

Small and old apartment, good location, very clean.

The apartment has two bedrooms, is in a good location, and very clean. The owner replied to our questions super fast. Overall, we were happy living there. Just one thing, the rooms and bathrooms are a lot smaller and older than what I imagined from the online pictures. It could be normal in Barcelona, I don’t know.

Apartment 2 units into one unit

On our arrival the outside virtual key was not working. Had to wait outside the building with our luggages for 1 hour until someone could open the door. The person who came was very nice and helpful. She stayed with us until the guy came with the key to the building. The problem with the virtual key was resolved quickly. AC was not working in unit B , electric power kept shutting down when we tried to use portable radiators or the toaster. We were given a brand new toaster and we had no more problem with the electric power afterwards. Somebody came to look at it and took pictures for future reference. constructive comments: 1. The curtains in the bedroom of unit B need to be changed or at least fixed. 2. AC in the main dining room (unit B) need to be fixed. 3) no TV in the unit A but that was not a problem for us. Very very busy street with a lot of traffic but quieter at night. Walking distance to Sagrada Familia and many other touristic attractions. Easy to use the city buses and metro . Supermarket and pharmacy across the street. Beside the problem with the virtual key and the toaster/AC situation, we really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. Good Communication with the host’s team and they were very quick to respond to our texts. We do recommend this apartment. The unit A has a lot of storage for the clothes and also 2 small balconies. Very nice.

When we arrived there was no hot water in flat b it was rectified the following day which was good but I had asked for a possible late check out and I was finger off. I would have preferred a straight answer as I had requested this prior to my arrival. Apart from these two issues I liked the apartment it was spacious and well situated.

Great Location

Close to bars, restaurants, and public transit stops. Lovely art and decor in a charming building. The single downside was an internet connection was required for both building and apartment access. So if you’re traveling internationally, you need to use cellular data. There was a power outage our last night, so we were kind of stuck on the street for a while. It all turned out OK.

Cute apartment in a nice area

We are a family of 4 and we stayed in this apartment for 1 week. It’s super cute and well located. We felt very safe in this quiet neighborhood but still very close to the action! The washer worked well, kitchen was well equipped. Wifi was reliable. Overall great little apartment and very budget friendly! We would recommend!

Clean, modern apartment in a perfect location

This was the perfect apartment for our family of five. We arrived very late at night and the check-in process was very easy (must have cell phone service). This is two connected apartments that you can close off each for privacy or keep doors open to feel like one apartment. It's very clean and modern with two comfortable beds and a sleeper couch. When we needed an extra set of towels and sheets for our 5th guest, the host was quick to have them delivered to us the same day (thank you!). Also, it was nice to have two bathrooms, and the air conditioners worked without a problem. Finally, the location is great! A market is just across the street for anything you need, and it's within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shopping, and many of Gaudi's impressive works. From here it is easy to access all parts of Barcelona. We loved it and would stay here again.

We woke up one time in the morning with no electricity power. While taking shower the water becomes hot then cool continuesly. But, everything else was great with no issues. Nice clean place with commodities .

Two apartments in One!

We came to Barcelona with our adult daughter and this was the perfect rental! She had a room/unit to herself. She had two floor to ceiling doors that opened to little balconies. She loved it! Our unit was larger and perfect us all to meet. This location in a good location. Taxis were close by, subway/bus were less than 5 min walk. There was a cafe right next door, a grocery store across the street. We walked down the road to Santa Gloria for coffee and pastries..yum! There was construction going on near us, but ear plugs/sound machine took care of that. This place was perfect for us! Great for two couples.

Great location

We loved the location of this property. Easy to walk to many restaurants, grocery right across the street, and a little coffee shop right downstairs. Easy access to metro stations. The set up was perfect for our group. We could be together, but still close the doors and have our privacy. Very safe and quiet. Property was as described and very clean. We would definitely stay here again if we’re lucky enough to be in Barcelona again!
