"It had air conditioning. Most do not on Sugar Mountain. Small but quaint. Nice deck. Fully stocked. Nice king size bed. Hot shower"

"Last minute booking for July 4th weekend. Booked through Vrbo. Reasonable price. Great location. Very compact chalet, but efficient layout. Very clean. Didn’t care for the bed “cubicle.” Difficult for person sleeping on the inside (wall) to get out once you’re in bed. Also, rather thin walls. Could hear the people snoring in the next unit, and people walking in unit above. Got to enjoy fireworks shows over both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain just down the hill. Would gladly stay again. "

"The property was beautiful. It’s light, airy, has huge windows and we were able to see both a bear with her two cubs and deer from the property. The hot tub was very clean and nice and if ever in the area in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We loved it. "

Our unit was on first floor, which was great, other floors would be inconvenient due to lack of elevator. Our unit was very close to pool and hot tub, which is nice when it’s cold. Location on Beech and 1.2 mile from resort, very convenient. Close to some restaurants and a small general store (but that store can be pricey).
